Similar to Gwen Stacy, one of the things Elektra is known for in the comics is dying lol (specifically by her own sai dagger). Nonetheless, her final words get me every time (“I know now what it feels like to be good… does it always hurt that much?” 🥺😭). Can’t wait for Season 3, I think it’s even better than Season 2. However, as others have previously stated, the DEFENDERS show acts as a sort of “Daredevil Season 2.5”. You could technically skip it, but you’ll be confused and wondering why certain storylines are not in Season 3, etc. The thing about Defenders is the timeline leading up to it is as follows: *Daredevil Season 1 *Jessica Jones Season 1 *Daredevil Season 2 *Luke Cage Season 1 *Iron Fist Season 1 *The Defenders It’s understandable if you don’t want to watch that many Netflix shows just to get to Daredevil Season 3, especially since they are a mixed bag as far as quality lol. But I’d recommend at least The Defenders, and maybe just watch a recap beforehand just so you’re familiar with the other characters in that show.

I think you should really consider Jessica Jones after Punisher. It’s very good and David Tennant is worth the watch alone.

Some solid scenes in this finale. The guy shot on the bus was unexpected but it actually added weight rather than being pointless hollow violence which some shows will do. These final few episodes do really show how far Matt has come for sure. I can't remember Defenders and never watched S3, so I actually have no clue what happens to any of these storylines. Be good to see. I also found myself thinking in this episode that Daredevil's weapon is actually very similar to his blind stick (probably has a proper name lol), thought that was an interesting thing. The woman that hired Foggy this episode I think featured heavily in Jessica Jones if my faded memory serves me right, so she isn't random. In my head when I was ranking these seasons I remember making it DD S2, JJ S1, DD S1 then the others way lower. But didn't fully watch or complete anything past The Defenders so plenty I haven't seen.

YESSSSS I totally agree, like I do not want Seb to miss out on Defenders because although some people said it was bad, I personally really enjoyed it and I totally agree that it is like a Daredevil Season 2.5 because it wraps up some of the things from Daredevil Season 2 while also setting up Daredevil Season 3 because I feel that The Defenders is crucial to understand a lot of the things that Matt goes through in Daredevil Season 3! And I think that in order for seb to fully enjoy the Defenders, watching the other 1st seasons of the other shows will make the viewing experience far better as there are some really nice dialogue and moments in the Defenders! Please Seb I really hope you see these comments and watch all of these before Daredevil S3. I know it's not exactly necessary, but watching Defenders and the 1st seasons of the others will make the last season of Daredevil much more enjoyable and amazing!

Hard agree!!! I really want to see Seb react to Defenders! I think it would help him to determine if he wants to look into the other Netflix shows (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist) by getting a taste of what they can do and who they are. I'd recommend Jessica Jones for sure, Luke Cage and then Iron Fist. (I'm a fan of how Luke and Jess interact lmao).

I absolutely can't wait for season 3 of Daredevil because it's so so good and I completely understand if you want to watch all of the marvel Netflix shows including Defenders. But, I don't think Defenders in necessary and I will die on this hill. If you go the route of watching all the marvel Netflix shows, you'll end up watching one season of Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones. Iron Fist is a doozy and Luke Cage is 50/50 but I've heard Jessica Jones is pretty good. After that, all you have to watch is Defenders and then boom you understand Daredevil Season 3. Or...... (spoilers for the end of Defenders/context for DD season 3) . . . . You can skip all those shows and just watch this 30 second recap video : https://youtu.be/abJ5Hi_a_v0?t=120. Basically, Elektra is revived and in last episode Matt and Elektra are under a building. The building explodes and it collapses on top of them and it is thought that Matt dies in the rubble - This is exactly where Season 3 picks up. S3 helps recap what happened fairly well so I wouldn't worry about being confused too much. And plus, doing it this way saves a lot of time on watching shows that never got a proper ending. Either way, I love the reactions and can't wait for Season 3 <3

jess jones s1 then defenders s1, then daredevil s3 is best way to watch it in my opinion and can’t wait for punisher
