Oh boy… not sure if I’m excited for this or not. I have never sat down and watched the full movie. I’ve only ever watched multiple reviews talking about how awful this movie is. Just from those reviews, I feel like I’ve watched the whole thing, but I will try to contain my cringe face for as long as I can. If you decide to not watch the other two movies, I am completely fine with that; they are just cash grabs and get progressively worse.

Also, I hate when movies romanticize relationships like this. Preteens and teenage girls should not watch this movie and think having an abusive partner who is violent is romantic and attractive. It’s not! It’s extremely dangerous. SPOILERS: When Elle gets a cut on her face and Lee automatically assumes that Noah did it, what does that say about Noah? That his brother accuses him of hurting her. How she doesn’t see the major red flags is embarrassing to me. Lee isn’t better either. Why is he her best friend? He really can’t get over some stupid rules they made when they were 6? Grow up! He’s not as extreme as Noah, but he is also manipulative and toxic. And even Elle sucks; especially her taste in men. She immediately forgave a guy for groping her that day. He apologizes with a stupid letter. “No boobs are worth a broken nose.” GOD I HATE THIS MOVIE!! But I guess it’s good for content.

This was actually a really funny watch. Obviously not a good film in basically any way but was like a fun bad still, until they dragged out the ending way too long. I was honestly shocked when they kissed in the Kissing Booth and you said there was an hour left 😂 Three main characters honestly all toxic. Actually kinda similar to Twilight in a way. Possessive romances and women who seem to fall in love with it, not good. Was a fun reaction for sure. P.S. the dance machine reminded me of your IG post (still my favourite IG post you did 😂)

I didn’t realise this movie was as cringey as it is the first time I watched it but I think the next two are much better, the main characters are still all toxic but cheesy teen movies are kinda essential to growing up 😂 I think the after movies and to all the boys are both franchises that you will love to hate. Still waiting for breaking dawn pt 2 tho 👀

If I'm not mistaken, the storyline for this movie came from a fanfiction story. There's no telling how old the person who wrote the story was so that's probably where all the cringe and things not making any sense comes from. Oh and there are 2 more movies. Enjoy! 😆

Yikes. This movie. The reaction was fun, but even I was getting exhausted by the end. I don't think I've ever seen you this frustrated during a movie haha. I do hate the toxic elements they try to gloss over or pass as 'cutesy' when it's really just unhealthy. No, normal girls wouldn't give their number to a guy who inappropriately grabbed them or put his hands up their skirt. They wouldn't parade around the boys locker room full of horny ass teenage boys in their bra to make their crush jealous. The gratuitous upskirt shots of Joey King were just gross considering she's portraying a 16 year old girl. There is no private (or even public) school that would be okay with anyone's underwear being exposed, girl or guy. Uniform or not, most schools have dress codes. Unnecessary scenes like that were just nasty, not funny. Another bizarre thing to me was Lee's reaction to seeing a scratch on Elle's face. The FIRST place this guy went was to assume his brother hit Elle?? So weird. If you hated this mess, I'd avoid 2 and 3 altogether. Only saw bits of those from another YT reactor and could barely sit through even that. These are terrible movies you love to hate!
