The extended is honestly not as bad as the theatrical and still had a lot of fun with this even though a lot of you said to skip. Now only good movies onward :)

For some reason I thought I had seen this but hadn't. It was better than I thought it was gonna be from all the hate, I thought it was passable by the mid point of the film, but writing was really bad overall. As soon as the mission actually started it was very meh apart from the backstory and proper interaction between them for once. Very dragged out and could have used that time a lot better for character development or plot development. I think the main issue is that they made it all about the squad but only gave us scraps about them throughout then just threw the "main plot" in at the end and barely made sense and no weight and then particularly the final scene against her just seemed silly in so many ways. As you said people like Harley felt like they had huge plot armour just so easily killing and not being hurt, often with only a bat. Yet trained SEALs are taken down like flies. A lot of flat characters as well. Harley, Deadshot and Flag I think were the only good ones. Even then there was issues with them at points. Boomerang guy had so many "jokes" that none of them were funny. Probably be so much better if they only had like 5 of them but I guess the premise of the squad wouldn't work that way. I did also think the Diablo guy reminded me of Frank Castle before you said it 😂 The voice was pretty similar at points. Joker didn't feel right at all, didn't feel like the Joker.

It's so funny re-watching the DCEU with you and really enjoying the little things, since most of the movies were received poorly when they released in cinemas, kinda makes me want more off the wall shit like DC has been trying rather than cookie cutter average MCU projects, but yeah this movie even with the extended cut is a shit show lol

seb you should react to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes, they are all on Disney+.

Inhuman Paradox

God this movie feels so butchered. Even the Extended Cut is hardly the original version. I don't know if Ayer's film would've been good, but his cut would at least be an actual movie. Whether Ayer makes a good or bad film, it usually feels like an actual film. This is just a collection of scenes, and there is a difference. What a mess.

I STILL don't know why so many people don't like this particular Joker, I liked him. Yea maybe he's not everyone's favorite but that's what makes him who he is. Even you Seb, I liked it so much that I have the same tattoo on the left side by my neck, the all 4 aces. I know as a film that's where the problems totally failed. Just my personal opinion.
