Same for me regarding the video not playing back on desktop. When clicking the Play button, a link for the play button overlay image appears. However, it does play on mobile.

Whilst Seb fixes it, for desktop people this link works: https://vimeo.com/727521158/e9f1cc2877

Seb, your face during the chorus concert was ME 100%. 😒. And your final comment, "It's such a stupid film" is precisely why I voted for 50 Shades. 😂 Also, if you liked Natasha Lyonne as "wise" Jessica , you should add "But I'm a Cheerleader" to your list of movies to react to where she's a cheerleader whose parents send her off to a camp to have her sexual orientation altered. As an adult, she's the creator and lead in Netflix's "Russian Doll" and of course "Orange Is the New Black".

Totally forgot Chris was going to college at Michigan State, where I grew up and went to. Can’t remember the last time I watched this movie

OH my God! What do you think third base is??? That’s absolutely what third base is! First is kissing, second is boobs, third is fingers in the kitty (for guys, girls don’t have bases, or they didn’t when I was in school). And for American guys, at least when I was in school, oral for them was not a thing they did- it was considered a sign of weakness or something. What is third base in the UK?? Also, why exactly was it weird that the girl at the beginning asked that guy to say when he was about to cum?? She didn’t want it in her mouth, which is totally valid. Good Lord. Download and listen to the Savage Lovecast. And I say this for Seb and anyone else who is interested in the very many ways girls may or may not like to interact with dick.

Fav quote? "We'll just tell your mom we ate it all". For similar type of humor watch Eurotrip - it has an amazing cameo by Matt Damon singing the incredibly catchy song "Scotty doesn't know"

“But I’m a Cheerleader” is a classic. One of the first gay movies I watched when I first started liking a girl and realized I was Bi.

Guys doing oral was a sign of weakness? Yikes. In what world were these guys living and how did they get any girls?? I was in HS years ago and thankfully never knew this strange world. Guys afraid of girl bits were blacklisted among girls.

American Pie came out the first year I entered High School, so I'm talking around that time. And around that time, in the US, in the Midwest/Southwest, it was very much a thing that guys did things to girls and could brag about it, but girls never, NEVER admitted to having sex. It was dirty and wrong and meant you were a big slut. Maybe people would be okay with it if you were dating the same guy (and it was always a guy, being gay then and there was NOT okay) for a year or so and never talked about it. But "going down" on girls was very much like, "gross." Vaginas were smelly and lots of jokes were made about how they smelled like fish. Men used them, they did not put their faces down there. I think the general idea was that girls "submitted" to boys by going down on their knees for them, boys did not do that for girls. It took me being in grad school on the East Coast before I met guys on the reg who liked it. And now, honestly, I think it's super weird if straight guys don't like it. I mean...you like girls, you like vag...why wouldn't you want to put your face all up in there? Assuming good hygiene, of course (and honestly teenage boys aren't the best with that, which maybe was why our girl in the movie didn't want her bf's spunk in her mouth...doesn't always taste great if the guy isn't eating right and keeping himself up). But what I was referring to was just the culture when I was growing up. This movie was very much treated like an outlier with respect to the guy going down on his gf, and the rapey/assaulty aspect of video-taping a girl without her consent was just "boys being boys." (I hadn't watched the whole movie before so hadn't realized that was in there). But- point being- it was just a different time.

Sorry if it seems like I’m kind of “going off” on this topic…I could write a book on how harmful the antiquated, Puritan and sexually-oppressive abstinence-only, anti-sex attitudes of the US Bible Belt are to youth. And society in general, really. El fin, rant done.

I actually saw this in the movie theater when it came out with my Mom. I would have been like 15. My Mom is the coolest. This reaction was a blast Seb! Keep it up man!

- This film is just ... very (bad) porny. 😂 I was surprised it was only rated R, and apparently it was at one point rated NC-17 - Eugene Levy's character is just like Johnny Rose, except with worse clothes lol - I almost died at the "I'm coming, I'm coming" joke 😂

This came out the summer I graduated high school, so these characters were my peers. I've always felt a connection to it for that reason (also because I related to Jim in a major way... without the whole apple pie thing, anyway). Also: Eugene Levy's character is an all-time great movie dad. Understanding and loves his son unconditionally. Goals. Also also: Jim stumbling into an "embarrassing" prom date who looks like Alyson Hannigan (who is objectively really good looking) after being "humiliated" for having Shannon Elizabeth want him (let's ignore the whole "he should absolutely be in prison for what he did to her" aspect) is wild.
