i was really dissatisfied with sasha’s death. it was just so sudden and they kept cutting away so the emotion they tried to portray wasn’t there /: felt like it deserved so much more momentum like erwin’s as you noted. i really disliked gabi at first. i see how she’s a reflection of eren, so i feel like it’s a lot of internalized misogyny too when everyone collectively hates on her (+ doesn’t help that we innately wanna side with paradis anyway). on rewatches, i do understand where she’s coming from so i try to remain indifferent about it lol
