Ok…so I’m conflicted. I can already tell 2 episodes in that Nate is trash and imma hate him 🙄…… yet he beat Derek-from-LOVE-VICTOR’s ass, so I’m also LIVING 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Just a note since you wondered if any other reactions had a trans actor/actress- Nomi from Sense8 is a trans woman actress. I imagine there might be others as well. I feel like I might not get the full weight of some of these scenes with being ignorant on a lot of these drugs like Oxy and Fentanyl. I've heard of them but don't really know exactly what they do. I can still feel the intensity of all these scenes though. Feels like almost every character is a shitty person right now with some very extreme examples like Nate. Not sure if he is going to have a redemption phase or he's going to get even worse. With the stuff with the app and Jules I am terrified for her. I don't even want to imagine what those scenes are going to be like. I am wondering if this show is just going to be all despair, but we shall see lol. There is still something very compelling about watching stuff like this though and going over important topics in a very unreserved way.

just fyi this show has a lot of symbolic scenes even though reality is happening within them. like for instance when rue is selected to speak about a summer memory the lights aren't actually that bright but that's how it feels to her because she's put under pressure and it feels like a spotlight is on her.

prediction: Nate is going to fucking murder people. Something about how his scenes are filmed feel way too real and scary. (also the show is freaking amazing and I am loving it, but just not him. If he hurts Jules I will POP OFF lol) #fucknate

"I don't think we've had a trans actor/actress in anything we've watched' Poor Nomi :( lol. But yes, Nomi from Sense8 is also played by a trans actress. Also, if you want to get into darker shows, I highly recommend watching The Boys for a future reaction series. It's so incredibly good. It's a superhero show but not in a traditional sense.
