Great, I love this movie.

I actually haven’t seen this one since I first watched it in theatres. Rosamund Pike (who I absolutely loved from Pride and Prejudice) did such amazing acting here that I actually kind of hated her after watching it 😅 Mind you, both main characters were unsympathetic. But Amy had the juicier role, and Rosamund killed it (literally) Lol but yeah, I specifically remember leaving the cinema so pissed that I have pushed this movie out of my memory.

Desi was ten times creepier in the book. Don't know if I'm disappointed or relieved that they toned him down 🙃

I knew Seb would like this because he is strong at paying attention to details as they unfold. Also, Seb is always keen on knowing what will happen next. And this film is strong at combining those two. And of course the acting and writing are strong. Important to pic films that match the reactor and am happy to see this one did so well. I also hope it does well on Youtube. I don't see many reactions to it, but I hope people check it out. Amazing film.

Thanks for requesting this. I love the movie and I didn't expect to see a reaction to it.

This was a good film. Concept was really cool. The twist I thought was a very real possibility from very early on so kinda glad they revealed it earlier rather than later on. I've seen enough falsely imprisoned people on documentaries to know that people will crucify you for the way you act after a murder and it is often very different to how we see everyone act in films. Was great acting in this film though. I always enjoy it when they have to pretend to act well as a bit in a film, that must be so difficult to get right.

I watch films “with you” (which writing out felt completely creepy) on my dual monitors. That moment when she’s in her getaway car and says “and then presents her mouth for fucking” we both literally turned our heads in the same direction, at the same time, with the same ‘excuse me what’ look. 😂😂 Awesome awesome film! Love your reactions, hope your holiday is amazing!

The "male genitalia" shots. Don't forget to edit them out for Youtube Seb. They are brief. Easy to miss.

I don't think that's creepy, but I have to say that because I do the same thing :P Seb is fun to watch things with.

I think this one might leave you with trust issues, Seb 😳 (also, probably more neck issues haha). Seriously though, it was great to see you so mesmerized by this movie, the way I was when I first saw it. It draws you in so completely and keeps you guessing the whole time. Definitely one of my favourite movies -- so well written, directed and acted. Rosamund Pike is insanely good as Amy, she becomes utterly terrifying by the end. One of the best movie villains and she was robbed of that Academy Award in my opinion. Of course, David Fincher is an absolute master at these kinds of moody, stylish mystery/thrillers. If you haven't already, be sure to check out his other movies, especially Se7en, Fight Club, Zodiac and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Great reaction as always. Looking forward to some fun Christmas movies (and cosplay) over the festive period 😊

First thing i watch along with you for the first time

I'm terrible with names, so glad that people in this community often say other films a director has done. With those films, David Fincher is instantly is one of my favourite directors.

Seb is among the more perceptive reactors; picking up on even tiny details AND remembering them makes watching movies like this an even more enjoyable experience. Sincere reaction to a great movie.

The "cool girl" monologue is one of my favourites ever! It's so true and I'm sure most women can relate to all that she said. We've all been there haven't we 😆 So glad you liked the film Seb!

Considering how much you enjoyed this movie, you may want to consider reacting to The Girl on the Train. It's also based on a book. While it is not as detail oriented as this movie, you'll enjoy the way it unfolds as it also offers more than one reality and will likely leave you curious throughout the film.

Another great one with two equally enjoyable interpretations (Swedish and American)

Sooo glad you love this movie, Breaks my heart when people are too busy being mad at Amy to recognize the genius! lol My own unpopular opinion is that yes... Amy may be every man’s worst fear and she’s definitely demented. But Everything in Amy's journal is not a lie. Based on the books, Nick was very toxic and a user. He drained Amy of all of her money to fund failing businesses, guilted Amy into being the caregiver for his dying parents while he was “too distraught”/ laying on the couch, gaslighted her about wanting kids eventually even when he knew he didn’t, cheated on her with a student which is legal but unethical and (though it’s unconfirmed) he likely also hit her because he did have a temper. Again, Amy is likely a certifiable narcissist or sociopath (plenty of evidence in her life to support that)… but Nick was not some innocent, dumb schmuck. He was a POS
