It's finally here guys! Quick disclaimer, after finishing watching this I realized the audio of me and the film were on the same audio track, my mistake, which I am sorry for but I hope it is still watchable and can hear me and the film well enough. I guess a work around is having your film low volume but the audio doesn't seem that bad and to be honest it helps you guys get better syncing. This definitely won't happen again so I do apologize and I may have freaked out when I saw that it was on the same track and thought I may have to watch the whole movie again lol which I do not want to do as I got some really good reactions. The last film will be on Patreon in 2 weeks after I have got the 2 parts out on Youtube for this which I am super excited for. This one was a long one so if you need to watch it in parts the timer in the bottom right, and the film audio haha, will help you get back to the exact moment I am watching. Sorry again for the audio guys, message me if you have any issues and I hope you have a great week!

I Love it much better when you have your audio on even though it was done by accident, I find it much cooler and your reaction is awesome as always:)

No worries - all it does is make it easier to sync. 😎

I actually prefer hearing both audio tracks. I've seen the film so much I know the scenes by heart, and it means I can listen to your video while multitasking :)

SebScreen

If everyone prefers it I can keep audio for every film. But this time I cant split the two for Youtube editing. In future I can just keep the film audio for you guys on the Patreon aslong as 90% of people want it :)

Yes please, I definitely would love that:-)

I would prefer without the movie audio on. It was no problem - I just muted my own movie and used your audio, but would prefer to use my own movie audio so the audio is 100% synced with the picture (and comes from my surround sound from the tv). I don’t see why people want the audio on, when they should have the audio already? Wouldn’t it also get closer to breaking copyright laws by including the entire audio track? Just my two cents. And btw.. Loved the reaction :P

Having the audio included does help to sync better, especially with lengthy films like LotR. However, I don't have a clear preference, so whatever works easiest/best for you. :)

Great reaction as always, I really enjoyed the whole way through - and actually, having the audio really helped a great deal to sync this :-). But as I don‘t know if you could get in trouble for it because of copyright, it‘s probably better to leave it out next time - even if I surprisingly liked it. And yea, the Elvish parts will only be shown with subtitles on... surely it‘s no „film changing“ dialogue, but I guess you still might want to know what those bits are about. In this film, I always found the Ents part quite long in the Extended Edition, but with the next one wrapping it all up, I still prefer them over the theatre ones. Watching them in Cinema for the first time with these epic scenes was amazing, but I still get goosebumps at certain scenes when the music comes in and they show these wide landscapes. Have a great evening! :-)

I much preferred the movie audio on. It helps a lot. And in the books Faramir (Boromir’s brother) is not corrupted by the ring at all. He has no interest in it whatsoever. It’s a change they made for the films to give him more personality.

I didn't mind the audio track being on. As others have said, it did help to sync the video. But I don't have a strong preference either way. If you leave the audio in, it's easier to sync, but might cause you some trouble with copyright. It's really up to you, I'm fine with it no matter what. Great reaction by the way, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the Return of the King.

I certainly prefer the audio. Makes it much easier to sync up if you take breaks and what not. Worked out!

When you said you didn't know Carl Urban was in this I chuckled because like 3 or 4 actors in this trilogy are also in Marvel so when and if you hopefully get around to watching Marvel you will very much enjoy their parts in those too. God I can't wait for you to watch Thor: Ragnarok it's the funniest Marvel movie in my opinion and Carl Urban is in that one and his part is hysterical lol. Oh also the part where Aragorn kicks the helmet and he screams, he actually broke his toe in that scene and the director kept it because he kept acting and it was such a great burst of emotion lol. To understand why Gandalf came back and why he said he is the Sauramon that should have existed, you need to look into LOTR lore. There is a website like a wiki that consolidates all of Tolkien lore and history and believe me, you would think that Middle Earth actually existed with how much detail Tolkien went into and how many different stories, environments, and worlds, etc that there is. It's absolutely astounding how much effort Tolkien put into the entire history and story of LOTR, Hobbit, Silmarillion and other works that fit into the Tolkien universe. There is a reason I have a Tolkien symbol tattoo and not just something from one of the works because ALL of it is just too amazing to read and watch and I just love it all. Also I am so excited for you to watch The Return of the King because that's my fav one <3

I also prefer with the sound. It was really easy to sync up with my dvd copy (I got the deluxe dvd set when they were released in the 2000s). I was able to watch your reaction on my laptop with the movie on the big screen very nicely.

I too, also prefer the audio on. It’s nice because I can listen to it almost like a podcast on the go, on my long commutes. With movies I’ve seen a million times the picture kinda plays in my head anyway while I listen so I don’t feel like I’m missing out.

Gandalf and the Wizards are Maiar's, or spirits that chosen to live in Middle Earth. Sauron is a more powerful Maiar that chose to follow his master Morgoth (the original big bad, creator of the orcs and now imprisoned until the end of days) to Middle Earth. Sauron had many forms as a spirit.

The men you see with Saruman were Dundenlings (wild men) who used to live in Rohan and have fought the Rohirrim for centuries. The men with the spikey armour at the gate were Easterlings, or men from Rhun, that lived east to Mordor, worshipped Sauron's master Morgoth and had fought Gondor for centuries. The men with the elephants were a mix of Southrons (South of Mordor) and Haradarim (Harad) located to the South of Middle Earth. Rohan and Gondar were in the West of Middle Earth.

MotoDork

Are you not seeing subtitles when they speak in Elvish? You should be. That is not something you would need to turn on or off. That should be on automatically.

Robin

In the book Faramir let Frodo and Sam go pretty quickly. He did not take try to take them to his father.

Inhuman Paradox

Fun fact: When Aragorn kicks the helmet and screams, that's a real scream. He was meant to only kick it a little bit, but he miscalculated and hit it so hard that he broke his toes.

Thank you for the warning on the audio, definitely glad you went with leaving the movie audio out on your future reactions, mainly because I use my tablet that has you're reaction playing with a Bluetooth speaker while watching the movie in my home theater, and losing surround sound sucks!! But love your reactions man!!
