Crush Class: C (childhood)

One of my favorite Saturday morning cartoons as a child, "Mighty Orbots" was a semi-obscure US/Japan collaborative 'super combining robot' cartoon show by TMS Entertainment, which lost out on merchandising opportunities thanks to a lawsuit from Tonka toys. A fun 13-ep show, with LUSH animation by Tokyo Movie Shinsha studio (who would later be known for animation on some of the most visually impressive 1980s/90s episodes of TV cartoons from Disney & Warner Brothers) - and writing not unlike a 1970s Hanna-Barbera show.

Lord Chaos

Waiting on Nell from Dudley Do Right. Girl was heavy into bondage.

name sounds familiar but not don't remember this franchise

Raventail

'Orbots' had kickass intro music too.

I think I was 8 or 9 when I saw this at the thai embassy in london, all the kids were put in a room and this was playing. I do remember the opening theme the most but can hardly remember the episode I watched.

Actually, she defended Snidely Whiplash in court, with Dudley as the Judge, as a man with an uncontrollable bondage fetish and got him off!

I would hardly call having writing resembling 1970s H-B's writing a compliment considering that was the nadir of the company's creativity with the endless rehashing of the Scooby-Doo formula, including the first incarnation of Super Friends.

now I, for one, loved the bullwinkle show.. but while I don't honestly remember that episode, I don't doubt it happened... Dudley Do Right was an absolute scream of hilarity.. sometimes more so then the bullwinkle show.. which is saying a lot, as that show by itself was just a funny, if not funnier then George of the Jungle ( and yes, made by the same creators)

absolutely loved this show.. it was second in my book only to Transformers.. for the same reasons.. huge fighting robots, massive evil foes that were clearly "EVIL".. and the plots and major opponents had both some backbone AND TONS of imagination in the creation of such.. its' a severe pity that tonka toys was such a pile of crap about that lawsuit.. this show could have gotten at least 2 more seasons with ease!! Glad I found the "Full season DVD before it vanished..
