I need to write this because it's important to me.

Some time ago, as some of you may know, Deamonmaster went silent.  It's not uncommon in this little corner of the web but in this case it was because they passed away.

Their family made a post and I reached out to them to offer my condolences but I cannot begin to comprehend what a parent goes through dealing with the loss of a child.

From my brief contact with their family, I began to realize that I had a lot more in common with Deamonmaster than the stories and video games we both appreciated.  I've begun to feel as if I grew up with them, that I knew them through my circle of friends, and now consider them a friend.

I pray their soul rests in peace, and I will remember them.  I am thankful for their support over the years and I will always think of what could have been.
