Hey guys, and welcome all the new Patrons :) I hope you will enjoy what I got for you and what I'm about to draw this month.

This piece, goes to lovely Aksan, featuring a very personal character. The task was to draw her reading in an unlikely or impossible place, so... This popped to my mind immediately! I loved this scene and even though I haven't seen this movie for over 20 years I still remember it so well...

We also got a poem to go with this artwork, written by Aksan, who is just so skilled with his words, it's amazing!

When reality is at your whim,

Imagination your only hold,

Wandering, as lonely as a cloud,

Even such fancies so soon grow old.

Little anchors me to the mortal,

Keeping my care on tangible things,

Interests of the divine go wanting,

'Til other minds writ on page do sing.

Down the rabbit hole and far beyond,

Through looking glass, wardrobe, and gateway,

Over the ferry, bridge and mountain,

In worlds of dragon, mage, myth and fae.

Your world is left far behind by now,

Deep in creation of another,

Wandering the art of love, and self,

True revelations to uncover.

Until so sweetly beckoned back home,

Little, my loves, the ones I hold dear,

Even a goddess comes when she's called,

For all adventures begin right here.

I love that life I can give myself,

And lose it all in my creation,

But journeys with lovers are sweeter,

Sojourner with them, my life's station.
