The darker lighting has a more ominous and foreboding feeling to it. That might be more suited for when Syndori runs into trouble. Although, to be fair, if she doesn’t follow classic horror movie logic she’ll stay in the well-lit places. The brighter lighting brings out more of the background and the scene she’s in, so I like that more from an aesthetic point of view.
