Afternoon, all!

I wanted to give you folks an update on why things have been a bit slow this month. It's been a roller coaster of a month, so I'd like to just clear the air. First things first, all benefits will still be given! The two monthly stories will be completed, as will the artwork naturally, but they are obviously a bit behind.

Secondly, as compensation for being behind, I'm planning to release a few 'Alpha Stories' for you folks. These Alpha Stories are stories that are mostly complete, but aren't at that final tweaking yet, or just aren't at that point in the story. This includes Sidelines chapters of Filling Out the Frontlines, an OC story staring Nora and Ashley, Chapter 3 of The Legend of Zelda: The Reflection Behind the Door, and even the next chapter of Growing Soft (this one is essentially done, just waiting on final confirmation.)

I'll also be posting a completed NSFW Blueberry story staring Astrid and an OC, which is paired with 8 pieces of Artwork done by DJ-Bapho

Some of the stories I'd like to work on next month is the Dessert Warfare sequel, as well as the sequel for Hogs in Heaven. Speaking of which I already have an artist lined up for Darkness and Aqua, so please look forward to teasing our overweight blondie!

What follows is the TL:DR personal life section that explains why I've been behind, but the long and short of it is that you've got my vow that we'll be caught up right quick!

Normally I try not to get too personal on forums and the like, but I figure you folks deserve to hear more than anybody. I'm getting married in less than a week. Naturally, during the Covid pandemic, this has been pretty challenging to get everything together. We've had to cut down the reception, work with the hall, and even get permission from the mayor of the town due to fresh restrictions put into the region by the governor.

This month in particular has been a ton of ups and downs, with some downright depressing days and some that just kick nicely. I moved into a new area, had to change my setup into a much different way, spent days painting and decorating. But overall, the environment's been pretty high stress and it's been rough to be in the usual mindset for writing. Opening a doc and deleting half of the thing is always the most disheartening thing. Not to mention an, albeit brief, frustration with DeviantArt, we're just flat out behind.

To help remedy this, my wife and I will be traveling to a cottage in Michigan for a week after the wedding. I plan on committing a lot of my time there to writing and trying to find that good mindset again. I've also invested in a planning calendar to help with suggestions, polls, and release schedules, and really feel like I've got my own place now. So I'm very excited for the opportunities we've got moving forward, and I am forever grateful to you folks for your unwavering support.

As always, thank you for reading, and I'm looking forwards to the stories to come!

Sounds like you've had a lot going on lately. In any case, thanks for the lovely stories fam. Have a great time in Michigan and I hope things calm down for you. ;)

Honestly it was just a real trial month. My fiancée’s bird passed away and since I was home, I felt like it was my fault or that I was responsible even though that didn’t make much sense and it’s not like I could have done anything for him, he was just sick. Otherwise there was the move but the wedding has been the biggest thing, for sure. Just the general upkeep, having half the people not even able to come, including my first pick for best man and most of my closest mates, and then the reception hall called us to cancel. Then they un-canceled after trying to hash things out with the government. I’ve got people coming from out of country for this lol just a huge event and we’re trying to hold it as safe as we can. I’ll be bringing my laptop along for the ride, and we’ll get plenty of writing done up with all nature’s blessings. Just really relived to be able to move ahead :)
