Lilly lay in bed, motionless.

She listened to the sounds of her husband rummaging through their dresser as he was taking out what must have been his running clothes. She knew the sun must barely be risen, but that Hisao’s dedication to his morning exercise would keep him going out even as the weather became colder.

To his credit, Hisao was nearly silent as he did so, and Lilly was normally a heavy sleeper, especially as of late, but this morning she had planned on waking up as he did.

Lilly listened to Hisao’s footsteps as he walked to the bathroom to brush his teeth before he left, sitting up when she heard him finally leave the room. As she did so, she felt to cold morning air from their window on the center of her body, and she had to remind herself that her pajama top was open. She hadn’t been able to button it over her swelled stomach the night before. She hadn’t even tried to pull on the pants, instead she had flopped almost straight into bed and allowed her fullness to lull her quickly to sleep. ‘It should be fine to button now though,’ she thought to herself. ‘I can’t still be as swollen as last night.’

As her fingers went to the sides, she stopped herself. A playful idea came to her head, and she decided to leave the top opened, so Hisao could enjoy her barely covered view. She smirked to herself as she silently swung her legs out of the covers and onto the floor. Her bare feet felt cool on the wooden floor, and she attempted to hurry to the kitchen.

She tried stepping lightly across the threshold, wanting to keep her wakefulness a secret, but the floor seemed to have other plans as the wood creaked loudly beneath her as she crossed the threshold.

Lilly hesitated, but she heard nothing to indicate he had heard her, and with a spiteful glance towards the treacherous floorboards, she hurried into the kitchen.

Lilly had been spending a lot of time in this room as of late, and had committed everything in it to memory. She felt her hands trace out the freezer section of the fridge, and moved them to the left.

Her fingers felt across one crease, a second, and three! She opened the third cabinet door, and ran her fingers over a few objects until she found what she was looking for, a small plastic bag. She brought it out, and walked across from the fridge to the other counter. Outstretching her hand, she felt the familiar shape of the coffee machine, and began making a pot for her wonderful husband

Hisao, unsurprisingly, missed all of this.

As he stood in the bathroom, he looked himself over in the mirror. He outstretched his arm and bent it at the elbow upwards, and could see a bit of muscle actually form. This was completely new to the young man. He’d ever really ever being in the shape of his life, having only ever played recreational soccer when he was younger.

His chest was broader as well, he could see it. He smiled at that, happy at his physique, and happier that it was actively helping him. As Lilly had leaned on him yesterday, she had actually been kind of heavy in her weight, and if things kept going the way that they were, which Hisao quietly hoped they would, then he’d have to get even stronger to care for them. He imagined himself carrying Lilly in his arms, although she certainly had more size to her, and smiled at the thought. He opened the door and exited the bathroom, and walked across the small hallway to their bedroom.

As he stepped through the doorway, intending to kiss his sleeping wife goodbye, he quickly realized that she wasn’t there. Lilly, who so often was lethargically laying asleep, wasn’t even in the room.

“Lilly?” he called out, looking around.

“I’m in the kitchen, dear!” she called back from down the hall.

Hisao stepped back out of the room and down the short hall to the kitchen. As he does, he can smell the sweet smell of coffee fermenting the air.

Hisao enters the kitchen and sees a sight that takes his breath away, no matter how many times he’s seen it. Standing before him is Lilly, who had a bad case of bed head and her expression was classic for the woman who had a hard time waking up, but that’s not what caught Hisao’s attention. That was directed towards her body, which looked utterly massive in her ill-fated pajama shirt. Hisao remembered when it had looked baggy on her, but now there’s not a chance she could even button it closed. It barely covered her breasts as it draped over them, and her stomach was on full display. Hisao could see her panties too, and noted that she might have found out that her pajama bottoms no longer fit either since ‘he shrunk them in the wash.’ Lilly’s legs were killer as well, her smooth white skin was abundant on her thighs.

She giggled, having must have heard his breath catch.

“Is something the matter, darling?” she asked. As she did, the coffee maker dinged, and she spun and picked up the cup. Hisao was able to see her huge ass, barely covered at all by the underwear that looked much more like a thong than a suitable pair should. He wondered how long they’d last so stretched out over his wife’s expansive backside. She turned back with the cup slower, and Hisao noticed how her stomach came out even further than the clothing, peaking through. Her head was directed down at the cup, causing her double chin to deepen. “Come along, Hisao. I made you something to drink before your morning run.”

Hisao stepped forward. “Wow, you did this all for me? Thank you.” Their fingers intertwined as he took the cup, and he held her hand with one hand as he pulled the other with the cup to his mouth. He sipped from it, tasting it. “You always make it better than I ever could, thank you Lilly.”

“My my Hisao,” he said, placing her other hand to her mouth as she smiled. “You’re quite the flatterer. I make it the same as you do.”

“That’s not true.” He replied. “I can taste something different in this. Hmmmm. Perhaps you sprinkled a little extra love onto it.” He said jokingly, and he laughed at his own bad joke.

Lilly simply smiled at him. “I wanted to go the extra mile this morning after what you did for me yesterday.” She said. Her face fell and she groaned slightly. “Oohh, I must have ruined that poor skirt… It ripped even further when I tried to pull it off. My, I was so bloated from those cupcakes.”

Hisao stepped forward, letting go of her hand and sliding his hand onto her bare stomach. He could feel the coolness of her bare skin and the softness of her potbelly. “You sure did manage to eat a lot yesterday.” He stated. He could feel the sense of lust pulling at him.

Lilly smiled upwards at him. “What are you doing?” she asked in a tone that said she knew exactly what he was doing. Hisao wrapped his other arm around her, pulling her closer as he squeezed her side ever so slightly and kissed her firmly on the mouth. Lilly kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his waist, and pulling herself into him. Hisao could feel her breasts press against him, and his gripped on Lilly’s side deepened as he grabbed a handful of her fattened side. He felt her tongue press against his mouth and reciprocated, trading their lust towards one another as they fought to be closer and closer to one another.

After a few minutes, Hisao broke off the kiss and released Lilly’s love handle. “You know,” he said, “I could just stay here, and we could both get a workout in.”

Lilly laughed, and placed her hand over her stomach. “If I have to be taste tester for the cooking class anymore, I’m going to need far more than one workout.”

Hisao laughed slightly. “Heh, don’t entice me.” He once more imagined his wife with even more weight on her when out of the corner of his eye he spotted the plates of cupcakes. “Actually, since you’re awake, you may as well start on breakfast.”

Lilly looked at him questioningly as he broke their embrace, and he grabbed a cupcake off the table. The cupcake was rather large, vanilla flavored with some sort of frosting. He took Lilly’s arm and outstretched her hand, placing the cupcake inside of it.

She laughed when she figured out what it was and looked towards Hisao, raising it up to her lips and taking a large bite. Some sort of cream that was inside the cupcakes splashed out as she did, although she was quick to lap it up.

Hisao kissed her once more, kissing her. She tasted of the vanilla cream, and it drove him wild.

Lilly placed her hand on his chest and he pulled back. “You better get along with your workout, love. I’ve been enough of a distraction for you today.” Hisao looked down to his watch and could see he was a few minutes behind, and although reluctant, his health teacher side nagged him that he should get along.

Lilly raised the cupcake to her mouth once more and took another bite, some of the crumbs falling and bouncing off of her stomach before hitting the floor.

“Alright, I’ll get going. What are you going to do with the extra time you have?” he inquired, curious.

“I’m going to enjoy a nice long shower.” She said with a full smile. “Then I’m going try out a few different sets of clothing. The sweaters are in the closet, correct?” she asked. Being blind, Lilly had trouble navigating clothing, especially clothing she very rarely wore. Hisao couldn’t remember the last time she’d worn a sweater, maybe even since last Christmas.

“Yes, love, they’re on the right side. If you’d lik-”

“No Hisao, I’ll be perfectly fine. Thank you though.” And she took another bite of the cupcake. “Now get going or you’ll be late,” she said with a partially full mouth.

Hisao smiled, kissed her on the cheek, and wished her goodbye as he grabbed his gym bag and left for the school track.

A short while later

Hisao huffed as he came into the final turn of his last lap. He’d have gone two miles by the end of this run, and he pushed himself all the harder for the last stretch. He sprinted from the corner all the way to the finish, and then began a light jog to do his warm down.

Throughout the lap, he progressively slowed down, until he was just walking. He walked with his hands behind his head, elbows bent backwards, and noticed as a familiar face walked down from the building and waited for him at the finish line.

As he approached, Yuki Yamada, the gym teacher, smiled his big hearty grin at him. “Mind if I join you for your cool down?” Hisao nodded, and they walked along together.

“So did you manage to check out the equipment?” Yamada asked.

Again, Hisao nodded. “Yea, I did. I’ve never really been about weight lifting to be honest, but I’ve just been feeling overall stronger lately.”

Yamada clasped him on the back, “That’s cause I’ll bet you’re eating more, isn’t it? You looked half-starved when you started here. Could barely finish a mile without panting your head off. Now, you’ve done, what, 9 laps? And you already have your breath back.”

Hisao smiled, “Yea, I defiantly have been eating more. Thank Lilly for that, ha.”

“You know, watching you this morning, I had a thought.”

“What’s that?” Hisao asked.

“Well, you’ve come pretty far since you’ve started, and I was wondering if you’d help me coach the track and field teams after school.” Yamada said. “Now, I know you must be super busy, but we only meet three times during the school week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and we have meets on Saturdays. Does that fit with your schedule?”

Hisao mulled it over… it fit, with the cooking class being a Tuesday/Thursday affair, but he still wasn’t too sure…

“I dunno Yamada…” he trailed of.

“Come on, it’ll be fun! We could use somebody like you, heh, you’d be an inspiration to the kids to put their butts in gear and come here early to run.”

“Maybe…”

“Have I mentioned that it’s a fully paid position?”

The last part slightly perked Hisao up a bit. “No, I think you might have forgotten that detail.”

Yamada laughed loudly, “Don’t worry, Nakai, you’ll be fully compensated for your time. Put it into a savings account, and you might be able to get your own place soon!”

That thought extremely enticed Hisao. He didn’t dare let on, but he and Lilly were not exactly the richest people in Japan. They had been forced to eat out a lot until Lilly and he had really grown accustomed to cooking, and weren’t able to save up a whole lot. Her family always insisted on lending them more money, it’s how they got the apartment in the first place, but now that they had settled in, Hisao could do nothing but imagine a better place for him and Lilly. He also knew how much food could cost, and if he wanted to keep his wife well-fed…

“You know what, I’ll take you up on it.”

Yamada’s smile grew even further, and he stuck out his hand for Hisao to shake. “That’s great! I’ll contact the students and organize a special meeting for today after class.”

“Alright, that should be okay.” Hisao said.

“Otherwise we’ll meet tomorrow after school as well as Friday, and any other time that you can get the kids to show, do it. We’re gonna need a lot of practice before Saturday, we’ll be going against our school’s rivals and their coach is a crazy person when it comes to the track!”

“Well, I’ll be honest Yamada, I’m not so sure about the field section.”

“Hah, call me Yuki, I’d say we’re friends enough now that you’re saving my ass because I don’t know crap about running. I’ve got the field part down, and if you can get the kids running well enough then we might actually stand a chance. You’ll be able to come all of those days, right?”

“Yea, Lilly will be helping with the cooking club after class, so hey I might as well do something other than work out by myself, right?”

“Ahh,” Yamada said, with a twinkle in his eye. “Fattening up the Mrs. so she can’t run away, eh?” He roared with laughter, and Hisao laughed as well, although a bit more awkwardly… The image of his plump wife attempting to run was difficult to imagine. Even when they were younger and she was lean, Lilly was never in a hurry to get anywhere and seemed to enjoy sitting around just as much as anything else.

The opening bell for the school rang and Hisao was snapped out of his visage.

“I’ll see you after school, Hisao. Now get on going.”

“Right, see you later Yuki.”

And with that, the newly minted track coach sprinted off the track, up the small hill, and into the locker room. He showered quickly, got his teachers uniform on, and was on his way to class before the warning bell rang.

Lilly, being free for her first period, wandered through the hall on the way to the teachers’ lounge to see if Rai had come early once more.

She had picked out a sweater, the one that she believed Hisao had bought her for Christmas that was apparently red, that managed to stretch over her. She found that she must still be at least a little bloated from yesterday, since she had trouble finding any sort of pants to wear. She settled on a pair of black pants that were a bit tight around her thighs, and had worked a rubber band through the button hole in order to keep them buttoned. The sweater came down over it, and Lilly, confident that nobody was going to see it, left for classes.

It matters little anymore, Rai and I are going shopping after class today after all. I will pick up some new outfits, I hope she can help a little more than Hisao’s able to with this sort of thing.

Hisao, bless his heart, simply wasn’t all that good at fashion. She knew, having been told by her sister a number of times that her clothing didn’t match very well, and had even once worn a green polka-dot shirt with white pants. Lilly simply detested polka-dots, thinking them rather silly for an outfit to have colored circles. Now, she mostly bought black pants or skirts that would match almost anything, although she felt this was rather drab. She’d love to get a sundress, which was something she hadn’t worn since she was a child with Akira. With fall setting in though and winter on its way, she should make sure to get some nice winter clothing.

Lilly smiled as she thought about different clothing, something she enjoyed even with her lack of sight, as she got closer to the teachers’ lounge. Instinctually, she had been counting the taps of her cane, and knew she was about to arrive when she smelled the scent of tea exiting the room. She hoped Rai was there, as she intended to give her her plate of cupcakes as well as hoping she’d be offered a morning cup of tea.

Rai sipped her tea as Lilly Nakai entered the room. Rai looked at Lilly’s outfit, a vertically stripped red sweater that actually managed to make her look slightly smaller, and was thankful the blonde woman didn’t look as if she’d be bursting from that outfit anytime soon. Although her pants certainly hugged her hips, but it gave her a curvier appearance rather than anything.

“Rai?” Lilly called.

“I’m here Lilly. Would you care to join me for a cup of tea?”

Lilly smiled, and Rai could see a few crumbs on her mouth that were certainly from some cupcakes. Rai also noticed the full plate of cupcakes Lilly carried.

“I’d love to. Here, you forgot these yesterday.” Lilly placed the cupcakes on the table as Rai poured her a hot cup of tea. Lilly sat, sighing as she did so.

“I’m afraid I’ve been feeling rather tired, as of late. I appreciate your kindness.”

“It’s no problem Lilly. I kind of ran out on you yesterday, and I should apologize for it.”

“You have nothing to apologize for,” Lilly stated. “After all, I placed you in a somewhat… awkward position. We’ll still be going shopping after today, correct?”

Rai was a bit relieved, but she wasn’t too worried about Lilly holding it against her. “Yes, I was thinking we can go to the mall nearby. I can drive us, if you like.”

“Well I certainly cannot offer the same kindness,” Lilly giggled as she sipped her tea. The crumbs came away from her face as she did so. “Goodness, this is remarkable tea.”

“Thank you.” Rai responded, although she was sure Lilly was just being polite. “I like to make some before classes, since I come so early.”

“Ah, I understand. A friend of mine and I used to always have tea during lunch, actually that’s how I met Hisao.” Lilly smiled fondly at the memory. “We try to keep up the tradition now, even though that friend is off on her own currently. You’re more than welcome to join us at any time.”

“I’d love that.” Rai said. She kind of felt super formal right now, but it wasn’t exactly a bad feeling. Rai was used to the crassness of being the oldest sibling, but she knew how to mind her mannerisms as well. Rai picked up a cupcake and began to munch on it.

“Speaking of which, I must remember to tell him of our plans. I forgot to mention it to him earlier.”

The conversation continued on as such, Rai enjoying the peacefulness of the mood, until she noticed the time.

“Umm, Lilly, the first period is about to end. I have to go to Mrs. Kimura’s room to pick up Benjamin.”

“Oh, allow me to accompany you.” Lilly said, standing. She reached down, grabbed her cane, and extended it as Rai quickly cleaned the room and they exited together.

“Let’s take the elevator today, if you don’t mind.”

Rai had to remember she didn’t need to hide her smile.

The girls traveled up the elevator the, and exited right as the release bell rang. Ben and Mrs. Kimura exited the class together again, and Kim approached the girls along with her son.

“Good morning girls, how are ya today?”

“We’re well, Kim. How are you?” Lilly asked.

“Doin’ fine. I can’t wait to see you and Hisao tonight for class.”

‘So Lilly and Hisao’s class must be every Tuesday and Thursday,’ Rai thought to herself.

“I’m excited as well, as long as I don’t have to sample everything for the class again.” Lilly says jokingly, and both women laugh.

“Well you performed you duties marvelously, most of the students were really happy with your critique, although by the end you seemed a bit far away.”

Lilly blushed, “Yes, it took quite a lot out of me.”

“Alright, you folks head along. I’ll see you tonight, Lilly!”

Ben, Lilly, and Rai all wished her goodbye and headed to the elevator. As they entered, Lilly told Ben how much she had adored his cupcakes, and the teenager blushed madly, much to Rai’s amusement. She actually had one of his cupcakes on the plate she carried, and was intent on trying it for lunch.

Class came and went without any issue. Lilly taught the students some English sentence structure and had them work out of the book for parts, and Rai stopped herself a few times from eyeing her cupcakes as lunch ebbed ever closer. The bell rang, and the students were relinquished to lunch.
