 Princess Saki was stuffed.

That didn’t stop her from cramming another freshly picked slab of cake past her chubby cheeks. Little flecks of frosting cling to her fluffy pink lips when she gobbled down the most delicious substance, before sighing in quivering relief as her lustful hunger was sated.

She sat in her carriage with a small little plate perched atop her large breasts. Her long brown hair was tucked behind her rounded back and massive rump, pinned under hundreds of pounds of flabby hunger. She licked the frosting free from her gloves before checking her lips for any missed cake.

Her tummy was roughly packed with pounds of cake, which were quickly adding dozens of pounds of flab onto her frame. An unyielding hunger that she was finally allowing herself a chance to indulge. Her harvest was plentiful this year.

But now, her plate was empty, and her tummy was full. The intoxication that came with a princess’s feasting was weighing her down. She blinked sleepily at the empty plate, using her gloved hand to remove it from its wide perch, and made her best effort to sit up straight. The growing weight in her stomach did not allow this, unable to bend at the waist without compacting the mass of unrefined yield in her belly. And so, after a brief struggle, the Princess decided it best to place it upon the seat next to her.

Another moment passed before she realized there was no seat next to her. The dual coverage of the carriage cushion was meant to fit two people, which quite obviously was the equivalent of one hungry, fat princess.

“May I?” asked a voice.

Saki looked to the speaker. A pair of kindly young women sat across from her, each wearing a different type of royal outfit which designated their role in Saki’s kingdom. Her handmaidens were well picked, beautiful young women blessed with chubby figures and possessing large tracks of lands, more resembling milk maidens than royal servants. While pleasantly plump, they were absolutely dwarfed by the size of their princess.

The one who stretched her arm out to Saki, the servant named Abigail, had dyed the fabrics of her simple outfit a deep purple, which matched splendidly with her long purple hair, topped by a large, pleasant, bow. Her outfit closely resembled what was expected of a handmaiden, a light strapless top beneath a sheer purple shrug, with a deeply dark petticoat that came to just before her round knees.

Her counterpart, Leah, wore a workers outfit. A long pair of denim overalls, not all that unlike Saki’s own, beneath which she wore a deep red cloth shirt. Long orange hair was pulled backwards into a long braided tail shaded by her cowgirl cap, which tilted backward as she looked up from a studied map.

She glanced from Saki to Abigail as the later placed the empty plate atop of the map, which covered a centerpiece table that had been erected in the large carriage.

Leah was a central leader of the agricultural works, and one of Saki’s closest advisors out in the fields. She often accompanied Saki on oversight tours. She was also a bit of a worry wart.

“Don’t put it there, Abby,” she said in her authoritative voice. “That’s right atop of the dead-zone.”

“Oh, sorry,” Abigail moved the plate to the right.

“Not over there!” Leah exclaimed, her words coming out with a deep country drawl. “That’s our kingdom. Put it over on top of Shizune’s trash pile.”

Saki chuckled, then grunted with her belly feeling a slight uncomfortable. “Oof,” she coughed, tapping her hands on her tum, “I think I might have overdone it.”

“Nonsense,” Leah waved a hand. “This year’s got a record-breaking growth, you could eat a whole field and we’d still be ahead.”

Inwardly, Saki felt herself begin to salivate.

“We’d be doing even better as well,” Leah went on, “if that devil weren’t trying to invade from the west.”

Saki sighed, shrinking back into her tubby body. She rested her arms on top of herself, the perfect soft pillow considering her blubber covered either arm rest. “Now Leah,” her husky voice was tired, exerted by the simple act of eating, but she tried to push some authority into her words, “you know I have no time for politics.”

“Yes, ma’am, but-“

Saki cut her off. “If Lilly and Akira’s forces are dealing with them, then I shall trust they be dealt with. After all, they’re sand people.” She closed her eyes, leaning back, wishing she had a pillow for her neck. “What harm could they pose to the largest alliance of militaries in the world?”

“Enough that we need to call a peace conference...” Abigail chimed in.

Saki opened her eyes, narrowing her gaze towards her handmaiden.

After a moment of silence Leah added, “She does have a point.”

The princess sighed. “You two... always so worried. As you said, this has been a record year. Should we not celebrate? You could have some cake.”

“No thank you!” both girls quickly responded.

Saki scoffed. “You haven’t the faintest of what you’re missing. I wish we had another slice back here.”

“Would you like me to stop the carriage? We’ve plenty in the caravan.”

“No, no... if we stopped, I’d want to get out and stretch my legs. It gets so cramped in this tiny wagon.” Saki spoke without a hint of irony, while the girls in turn looked at each other and the gap of space between them. “It’s best to keep on,” the royal continued.

Abigail shrugged at her compatriot, who returned the gesture while Saki tilted back, thunked her fingers rhythmically across a belly so tight that it beat like a drum, and then nodded off.

Time passed, the steady hooves of the horses clomping away while their wheels turned over and over. The group was passing through a dense forest on their way to the neighboring country, passing from the long fertile fields of Saki’s land to Lilly’s vast kingdom. When Saki’s deep breathing gave way to little snores, her handmaidens passed conversation back and forth.

“She wants to just get there so Lilly’s bakers can refine the cake.”

“Obviously. That’s why we’re four karts ahead of the first load. She’d have to waddle to get it, so it’s basically out of reach.”

“Have you ever had it?”

“Are you kidding me? Of course I have. It made me shoot up to a size 12, and tasted like ASHES. And now I can’t lose a pound! I’m gaining weight by eating home grown carrots!”

“Same... well, I’m eating home grown pancakes, but they’re practically the same thing.”

“N-no they’re not...”

“Hey, with how little she’s around, I’m lucky that I can still even remember what my toes looked like. Complete access to the castle pantry and kitchens. She spends all her time on the frontlines with the troops.”

“Really? I’d thought she spent more time at the castle. I see her so often checking on the fields.”

“I hear that they’ve a tent at the front that’s her personal chambers, and that unlucky soldiers come see her, seeking blessings.”

“Oh come on.”

“That’s what I heard! It’s a huge white tent, with a red... thingie on it. An addition symbol.”

“A red cross?”

Suddenly, one of the horses emitted a terrified whiny. Men began to shout and the girls looked out of the window as a hail of arrows fell upon the convoy.

“Hmmm,” Saki blinked lazily when the first battle cry came from the forest. “Mhmmm, can’t you keep it down?”

Abigail rushed to the window just in time to see the red masks of the raiders screaming through the tree line, clashing with the caravan’s armored guard. She slammed the thick wooden barriers over the windows.

“Princess!” Leah was on her feet, sucking her head to prod Saki’s belly. Her hand sunk in past her chubby wrist. “Princess, we’re under attack!”

Cries of pain came from around their carriage. Steel on steel, spears striking flesh. One of the soldiers, a raider judging by his sandy accent, cried for his mother.

Saki yawned.

“Princess Saki!” Abigail on her other side, both handmaidens shaking her back and forth. The woman jiggled so much that the carriage started to sway.

“Mhmm, what?” Saki muttered, wiping sleep from her eyes. “I’m awake, I’m awake... what IS that racket?”

“There’s raiders! Shizune’s raiders! We’re under attack!!”

The soldier who cried for his mother was now crying for his grandmother, who he swore was far more pious and had definitely know ‘Princess Saw key’ in a past life so really, he should be able to just go home.

“Oh? Out here? Where are their horses?” Saki asked conversationally.

Abigail felt befuddled at her nonchalant response. “T-they don’t have any. They came from the trees.”

“Then why on Earth have you woken me up?” Saki scowled.

And now, it was his great grandmother, and he had pictures that he could show the men if only they would stop punching him in the face. And then there was silence.

The handmaidens listened.

A call went up. They couldn’t make out the words. Then they heard their driver. “Carriage two, clear!”

Abigail went to the barred window just as a loud tap came from the other side. She peaked over it.

A man with a brown bushy mustache in bright pink armor stood over the fallen forms of at least five men. He mimed a curtsey back to her. “All good inside, madam?” he asked.

Abigail looked up and down the row. There were countless dark forms that had fallen into the road. Red masks over dark leather carapaces. Men in heavy plate steel rode on horseback, checking the bodies. A few other officers who also wore pink were checking the cargo. Not a single man in plate lay upon the road.

Abigail gulped, looking at the arrows that marked their cabin. “W-what happened...?”

“Ah, just a few boys coming up from the wood. Ain’t no issues for us.”

Abigail felt a hand on her side and turned to see her princess. Saki pushed her aside and made for the door.

She opened it and made to step out. She did not fit. Her belly made it most of the way out before the tiny door caught on her hips, but gravity was on her side and her soft body squeezed through the vice grip like a ball of malleable dough. Saki then fixed her tiara, which doubled as a cowgirl cap with long streamers hanging down her round back.

The officer curtseyed to her. “Princess. We’ve tended to the difficulties without issue.”

“I can see that,” Saki smiled approvingly. “Princess Lilly sends only her most elite when transporting cargo.” She turned to the girls inside of the carriage. “Do you see why we don’t keep a military? We need all our workers focused on farming. It’s best to leave matters like this in the arms of the soldiers.”

“Right you are, thank you ma’am,” the soldier bowed his pink helmeted head.

Saki looked at the men lying on the side of the road. “I wonder if they knew the cargo we were carrying, or if they thought I was traveling alone.”

The soldier shrugged. “I shouldn’t suspect that. If they’d known we had cake, they’d have never tried.”

“And then they’d have to deal with me...” Saki said, and the voice she used was dark, deeper than her normal heavyweight tone. The girls were again reminded of the rumors of Princess Saki at the western front.

“Anywho, shall we be moving along?” the guard asked. “We’ve our schedule to keep.”

“Not just yet, Officer,” Saki responded. She began to waddle, her great belly straining the buttons of her dressy overalls. The handful of excess weight spilled over her gigantic leather belt, nearly obscuring it from view, and forced her arms spread wide to slide around her butterball sides while she walked. “Bring any of the wounded to me. From either side, even a scratch. The prisoners will make a fine gift, as thanks for your protection.” Saki turned to her handmaidens and waved to them.

Both girls tried to rush out of the carriage at once, getting stuck just as their princess did, but falling flat on their bellies rather than sticking the landing on thick tree trunk legs.

Saki sighed, turning to the soldier. “You’ve done quite well, but now that we’ve stopped, I mean to take a plate or three from the cargo. I’m feeling particularly peckish after my nap.”
