Dear Patrons, the year 2023 started and some might be unaware, but this year, the famously wacky adventure BANJO-KAZOOIE celebrates its 25th Anniversary! It's been released in June and July 1998 by Nintendo and RAREWARE, on PAL and NTSC likewise. It has been a hit ever since, and some of you might remember gaming mysteries and other fond memories. I sure do, and it's time to grab this opportunity and give the Bear and Bird their spotlight!

This endeth not here, as we present you with just the overture to our project. As mentioned before, your humble host has been on a week-long pilgrimage to obtain certain rights. You see, we are going to develop a sequel comic to another that has been published a decade ago by *Kitsuneyoukai* and *ElderFlowerpudding*(Inkbunny:  https://inkbunny.net/kitsuneyoukai / https://inkbunny.net/elderflowerpudding )

They have created a wonderfully tragic comic about Kazooie's history, named "The Whole Kit 'n Kazoodle" (See here: https://inkbunny.net/submissionsviewall.php?rid=8e9d2b7d7e&mode=pool&pool_id=18829&page=1&orderby=pool_order&random=no&success= ) and while it might hit hard on some edges, it's still a closed-up tale of how the bear and bird met... Or is it? Reading it again several times, I have found a couple of unanswered questions, and seeing that Banjo and Kazooie have matured over these 25 years, I have asked both creators for permission to continue the plotline and use OCs from all parties for a NEW scripted adventure! It wasn't easy, but both artists conceded to let us draw a sequel (albeit named diffently), and it's based on the existing plotline of this comic.

A short synopsis of our idea (considering you have read the inked comic before):

Ever since Banjo and Kazooie had their latest adventure with L.O.G. (Creator of all things), the unusual pair has lived a peaceful life on Spiral Mountain. Kazooie's plagued by repressed memories about her former life, and questions if it was all... Real or a fantasy implanted in her head. Did all the suffering she endured before meeting Banjo really happen? She has not talked about it ever since, and Banjo convinces the distressed bird of his dreams to go back with him to her former home and find out. Things have changed a lot, but not necessarily for the better. Luckily, the bear and bird will lay a 25 year old mystery to rest´, and depart to Fungus Forest...

So far, so good. It's required that you know what exactly happened to Kazooie in "The Whole Kit 'N Kazoodle", and it might be a tad too much to ask from the Patrons. Therefore, while at this crucial point of creativity, we ask you guys directly:

Would you mind if we postpone "Pipes 'n Gripes" (Featuring Wendy/Sledge Bro/Toad) until after this comic idea? Let us estimate some benefits/caveats:

Pros:

- Starting off early for the Anniversary, striking the iron while it's hot (6 month head start)

- Creating a 15+ comic adventure, granted permission only once to use material

- Script and Sketches in progress

- Genre-crossing from adventure to mystery, tragedy and porn (longer comic)

- Beginning structure in February, after initial sketch phase

- Similar in tone of "The Whole Kit 'N Kazoodle", albeit not as crass. Rated M for explicit scenes and possible character damage.

- Extension of comic supplement due to delay of "Pipes 'n Gripes"

- Honouring many gamers' beloved characters in one grand adventure

Cons:

- Current lack of material on "Pipes 'n Gripes"

- Requires to have read "The Whole Kit 'N Kazoodle" at least once

- Uniterest in BK from Patrons

Me and my partner are actually exhilarated to get to work on it, but we wouldn't like to just step over the Patrons. Please let us know what you think! Every criticism, every comment, every objection or encouragement is welcome and might inspire more! Survey says: If the majority of our esteemed Patrons outweighs the negatives, we shall get to work immediately, and provide you with a project that will last longer than the ones before!~

Should however, be the majority against this idea, be it because of the original plotline and/or possible misappreciation of the possible sequel, then we shall bank the idea and propse our Plan B instead, albeit less grandiose: A funny animation of Banjo and Kazooie bonking, and preparing "Pipes 'n Gripes" over February, releasing the Animation later in the year when the Anniversary coincides.

My associate SashimiPop will be our backpack partner, so to speak, and they're eager to start working too~

On a personal note, we could've come up with something *different*, but we could not come up with something *better*, considering that many tragic Kazooie backstories are similar, and the timing is a bit tight. "Bear" with us, and give the bear and bird a chance, or give your opinion against it and lead the schedule! Either way, content is coming!~ Please let us know until January 31st!

We wish all Patrons fun while reading "The Whole Kit 'n Kazoodle" and hope that our change of plans doesn't inconvenience you :) We aim to please, after all!~

Kind regards!
