Hi everyone, Aika here!

Earlier this month I polled alpha tester patrons to find out how people feel about the current development schedule and how much of my time tends to be eaten up by acceptance testing and then the painfully slow and boring process of publishing. It turns out that the vast majority of supporters at this level are happy for me to publish stable(ish!) new versions once every two months (with two month's worth of new stuff in each one).

There was a lot of feedback and suggestions of how we could improve things to make such a change in development schedule more palatable for supporters, and we've taken those all on board to come up with a new policy.
1) Frequent development updates: People wanted to make sure they still knew what their money has supported each month. Well we are going to try to do one better than that. Each release cycle (so, every two months), we will announce the key plans of that release cycle, and present these in a progress tracker infographic. This infographic will eventually be on our new website but that isn't finished yet, so for now it is viewable halfway down the page at https://subscribestar.adult/shamegames (since they are a lot more relaxed about allowing NSFW images on the creator page than Patreon). As the infographic fills with cum, you'll know which milestones are complete and therefore how close we're getting to completing the new version. We will also update the official Shame Games Twitter page each time a milestone is complete, so you can receive milestone notifications either by subscribing to the tweets from that account or by subscribing to dev updates in the #nsfw-unlock-kink-channels channel on the official Discord server.

2) Unstable builds: A few people were not convinced that they would stick around for bi-monthly releases. So, in hopes of appeasing some of these concerns, we've decided the following: Towards the end of the first month of each release cycle, whenever it is practical (i.e. the game is in an at least somewhat playable state), we will publish an interim unstable build for Alpha Testers only. Rather than a full publish, this will just be an upload of a single game file, compiled using the clothing window version, and the accompanying changelist may be in shorthand form or otherwise incomplete. There will have been a lot less acceptance testing, so this should only be played by people who really don't mind games being slightly or completely ruined by bugs.

As always thank you so much for all your support and positive energy. We have lots more exciting news we can't wait to share with you soon (such as the new website!) and hopefully an improved release schedule will enable us to find more times to make those announcements a reality!

Love from Aika
