I just got back from Alabama for ThinkerCon. Destin from Smarter Every Day arranged an event for science and maker YouTubers, and it was really magical to be surrounded by people who are in a similar boat as me. We're all figuring it out as we go, so there's a lot to learn from each other.

Take that content, Wikifeet

Did a Faceswap with Dianna on the airplane and it's as unsettling as always

Got to hang out with Don Pettit the astronaut! He designed a coffee cup that works in zero gravity and is unfiltered in the best of ways. Him, I mean. Not the coffee.

Finally got to meet Mehdi Sadaghdar from Electroboom!

Here's us in front of a giant space phallus, with Joel Telling and Martin Molin from Wintergatan who made that amazing marble music machine you might have seen around.

Also-also, we are in the FINAL HOURS of the Every Day Calendar Kickstarter campaign. Thanks everybody who have supported the campaign, and also, thanks to all of you who have put up with me talking incessantly about it.

1500 people have bought a calendar so far. There's always the possibility that it's just my mom that has bought all of them, but I'm pretty sure that even she would have maxed out of her motherly love at this point.

There is still time to place an order if you've been thinking about it. We haven't decided if we're going to keep on selling the calendars after the Kickstarter orders have been fulfilled, so now's the time. When did I start sounding like a car saleswoman? *slaps roof of car*

XOXO

Simone
