Update 0.30.3/0.30.4

I added short patch notes here and in game. I didn't include all the information if it comes to changes, but most of the content is mentioned (Unless I forget about something, which is a high possibility). 

Most of the bugs that were reported should be fixed.

  • If during character creation something was off, you would have to start over. Otherwise you will have less points. 
  • The errors with names not matching should be fixed as well. 
  • The farm road should work as intended. 
  • The crafting is working more smoothly now, without that reset that was happening earlier, so crafting more stuff won't be that annoying. 
  • Gallery should also work better... but let me know if there are any other issues with it.
  • I adjusted some of the requirements (Unlocking secret passages in the Munbury Complex was hard with the nerf to the items, with this update finding those extra places should be easier - you still need some points in Perception, but not as much as before. It's also a bit randomized so you still have a chance even with lower Per).
  • Some other things here and there (Sorry, I'm having a hard time to focus lately :D)

There's also another thing. I made a form to report bugs (You can see the link at the top of the post). It's hard for me to keep up with reports in all different places (Comments, DMs, Discord), that would help me keep everything more in control. It also allows you to post the traceback.txt file or a screenshot of an error if needed. Platform and Version is very important while reporting bug, so please always give me that information as well.

Android Version : There were some issues with the first android build. This build should fix those problems.

Also an android build is available. Also I want to remind again that android build is not made by me, it's a fan made build by someone who has knowledge and time to work on it. This was a big update, a lot of changes in the code - Ren had to adjust all the new graphics and screens so they are properly displayed on the phone. It's not an easy process. I said many times and I say that again: don't expect android build just after the official builds are ready. Ren is seeing those builds the moment you are seeing them and from that moment he starts working on android build (Which he still doing pretty fast if you ask me).

Hello!

The newest build is ready (more or less). 

Thanks to the people who helped with the beta, most of the bugs should be gone. Unless I created new ones when adding some new things today. With me everything is possible. 

I didn't finish all the things I wanted, but most of those things I can still add in the meantime, I prepared the base, so it should be fine from now on. Some screens may still not be working properly or be a bit wonky (I need to rewrite stuff for a new study screen, improvements screen is not showing resources, things like that).  

Right now I'm quite exhausted and I have a feeling I would make a bigger mess if I keep going through the code again, so I'll keep the build as it is right now. I will gather the feedback, see the bug reports and make a bug fixing patch in the first days of April. 

Sorry for the lack of update notes. The new content that was added is quite easy to find and mostly at the beginning of the game anyway.

PART 1: CONTENT

Tutorial:

  • The beginning of the game was rewritten, including a new tutorial (For the first play-through you have to went through with it, later there’s an option to skip it).

Bareshade:

  • New small quests for Bernard and Logan

Track:

  • Bat – New enemy, only for standard fight. Appears only during the night.

Forest:

  • Wolves Den was redone and now it’s one of the dungeons. The whole content was adapted to this system. There are some new interactions, including capturing a wolf as a beast companion.

  • A big part of the code was redone. Most of the things works slightly different.
  • In the Game Menu, under the Preference, there’s an option to turn on the cheat code that will allow you to add any kind of items to your inventory.

I took a quick look at the game when I saw that the update came out, as it was my time to go back to work and I can already say that I am in love. I quickly played the introduction and I can say that it was worth every day of waiting, because everything is very beautiful, I just loved the new menus (especially the equipment), the city map, and even though I had restarted the game several times I felt a great satisfaction with the new dialogue interface, it seems a different depth for dialogues. and the bigger characters cause a different feeling, I don’t know how to explain it. These are just my first quick impressions. I'll be back with feedbacks / bug reports when I play more. now take your deserved rest

I love the new changes you’ve put in! The character sprites look so much better now that they’re bigger. But, relax and don’t push yourself if it’s exhausting. You don’t want to have writers block.

This is awesome work so far! I don't mind starting again as I enjoy the game so much. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if i'm just doing something wrong but I seem to be permanently tired, event after resting for a whole day. Not sure where else to report this

Found a few bugs; 1) Equipping Adventurer Pants causes the game to crash and 2) The Dominant & Top Potion recipes are listed as the same as the Bottom Potion in the alchemy menu. When trying to craft any of the three, you can only craft Bottom Potions. 3) Hayden asks you to come back for a 2nd date between 18:00 and 22:00, but if you do he just asks you to come back during that time frame.

Sound and a pretty/ergonomic interface make a world of difference. Great job. I especially like the ability to set and lock the sexual preferences at the start of the game, and the larger character portraits. Take some well-deserved rest. ^^

Thanks for the update. One bug though I created a new character but it looks like all my stats are set to 3 regardless of where I put the points at the Start of the game. It prevented me from learning the tea recipe even though I already put points into intellect. I am also using the Android version if that helps.

I ran the game again and now its running as normal, maybe it was trying to call a quick save that new build didnt identify, but save files are fine, im playing where i last left it Also, the April's fools phantom dick is part of the build? If you have put some ingredients you need to take them back and after that you can exit the crafting menu

I got an error after i tryed 2 craft a strong restain potion in die temple. At home it was no problem. There are also some errors if i try 2 learn recipes and my stats are 2 low 4 it. (All on android)

You can harvest oak wood in the forest. You just have to wander around until you find it.

In the woods near your house, takes a while of looking around to find them, you'll need a hatchet

Is there a difference, if or if i don't give Logen the 5 Wolf's Bane? And if yes, is it a important choice?

If you choose not to give Logan the 5 Wolf's Bane (the red option), he will be missing in a few days and like Bernard, will end up being a wild werewolf and be found in the forest at night. Or at least that's what I read before, I never tried it myself. It is an important choice because it doesn't let you rectify its consequences (unless you save before making the choice).

I have loved playing through the game again, but I noticed 2 small issues. 1. I seem to have to sleep twice to lost the tired debuff 2. Bernard seems be be fully dressed when staying the night at his house.
