Hey folks! Here's an update on my current situation, the stuff that has happened so far, as well as stuff that will happen in the next month or so.

Before that though, I want to thank everyone for your patience during this weird time. I'll never stop saying this, I really do appreciate all the support.

So first off, the surgeries; Both of January's procedures went really well, actually! The first went super smooth. The second one was a bit rougher, but I'm almost completely healed up. I have one more surgery booked for next week, but I'm hopeful that this one will go super well.

Second thing is my day job. I have started negotiations with my employer, but so far the outlook does still look bleak for my future there. If nothing productive comes from this negotiation, then I will be unemployed at the beginning of March. The one silver lining is that this does potentially mean that I might be able to open up additional commission slots around that time too to help pay the rent, but I don't want to get too ahead of myself and make any definite promises yet.

Regardless, whether I quit my day job or not after the negotiations, this does unfortunately mean that I will not be able to accept commissions in February. I will be refunding the folks who are part of the commission tiers on Patreon (excluding the ones I have made prior arrangements with). The January commissions that I still need to finish will be worked on during February as well.

And that's it for now! I'll be honest, I'm still super scared for the future, it's been a rough month for me already, but I'm slowly working on becoming more optimistic.
