I dont think it's a cold, but mostly Pm 2.5 pollution in the air, it's making me cough non stop ._.

I try to have growing plants by most of my windows and use an evaporative cooler to wash the air coming in. it helps a little. Hope the wind changes so you get some fresher air.

philodendron and spider plants are easy just water a couple times a week. when the pot starts lifting up from roots growing out the bottom of the pot its time to move to a larger pot with a bit more dirt.

Not sure, I never really looked for any. The plants I have are survivors that we've regrown again and again from plants that originally belonged to now deceased relatives. My Grandma on the Spider plant and my little sister on the Philodendron. Mice ate them down to almost nothing and with some water and time we managed to regrow them. As long as they have water potting soil and sunlight they usually survive.
