Amethyst/End of Year Plans (Patreon)

Ello!

So, not sure how many Americans are patrons here, even then I'm not sure if it's just the US's problem at the moment. 

Anyway, this was over a week ago, I think, but there was an attack on a software company that basically enables other companies to manage their employee schedules digitally. So it crashed the entire system and kind of screwed over a lot of people, at least for the next few weeks for my company. 

My location is going retro with schedules being posted every Sunday and everyone queuing up to clock in/out. It was a little hectic but I thought everything would be at least the same schedule-wise. Nope. 

Long story short, I just got my schedule for the week and I guess I don't work until New Years Eve going into New Years Day. So I'll be working on some stuff and actually able to schedule a multi post day on the 31st so that's got me a little excited instead of being bummed out about the lost hours. Plus I can start packing for our move on the side. 

Honestly though, I'll likely call in on one of these days to see if I can get a shift in so the losses aren't too bad, not sure where the person's mind was when they made this schedule but it is what it is for the moment.

In other news, the dogs are okay, their fees for an after-hours-emergency-visit on a holiday-weekend however was about as bad as it sounds.
