oh Shan, you hate the high pitched voices and chewing sounds? you might have Misophonia. i do too. these movies can have a lot of triggers but i love them all just the same. I like The Meaning of Life as well and i think you might as well watch it, right??? you've come this far so why not finish the Monty Python trilogy?

Rumpus Parable

I'd avoid Meaning of Life and, at most, watch a few videos of scenes from it (It's basically just a sketch collection, so they hold up separately). On their larger/longer work as a sketch comedy troupe I'd love to see you check out The Cheese Shop sketch and The Dead Parrot sketch. They've endless gold, but imo those are two most folks should really see if they like any of Python! Oh, and I didn't see it in the YT comments, but one of the reasons George Harrison had a cameo in this (it is SUPER fast) is his wanting this movie done. A person I saw on the YT side mentioned how he did things/supported Python but I didn't see the detail about this that, as Harrison and Idle quip: Harrison holds the record for "the most expensive cinema ticket ever issued".... he financed the film himself. When at the last minute their financing was pulled, he and a business associate created the company Handmade Films and Harrison started selling off items, remortgaged his home, and just general risked being financially gutted if the movie didn't make do well.
