Great reaction! The only thing I thought kinda got a tad annoying was how positive and joking magy was during hard scenes, which broke the tension a lot. It gave laura the impression everything was going to be okay. I just wish Magy was a little more reserved on the jokes the meming around.

Thank you, ladies. That was definitely the extended version, but well worth it. So nice to see the fresh reactions of Laura. Magy did well not to spoil anything. I noticed scenes and dialogue I did not remember despite having rewatched so many times since I saw it in the theater. Need to find my Middle Earth map, reframe and mount it for the final movie. Let's go. 😊

Really needed this today <3 I'm so glad you found a copy with subtitles for the elvish speech, it adds so much! Some stuff that Magy probably already has heard: Gandalf when he's speaking to the Balrog says "I am a servant of a secret fire, wielder of the Flame of Anor". Gandalf is essentially an angel, clothed in human form and sent to inspire Middle Earth to defeat Sauron. So he's basically openly showing his power to the Balrog here. Gollum is a technical marvel of a character. This movie came up about the same time as we met Dobby in Harry Potter, back in the early 2000s, and was the first fully motion-capped CGI character to really take off. Without Gollum, we probably wouldn't have gotten such a good Hulk, or later Thanos. Also - Gollum hates the elvish rope, and the elven Lembas bread because the Ring has corrupted him, and so the purity of the elves hurts him. Magy: "I just want 5 more centimetres" - you're probably not the only one wishing for that :D Laura swearing! :D You know she's invested in these movies for sure!
