I think one of the saddest things is stopping and realizing how it was mostly a civil war, people fighting their own people, relatives killing relatives and brothers killing brothers.

Such a good movie, a few (manly) tears shed for sure. The acting is SO GOOD, so many awesome non-verbal scenes. The actress who places Taka is so incredible, and the chemistry between her and Algren is great The scene where she's dressing him is more intimate and passionate than so many of the "love" scenes we get in other movies. Thanks for watching this one ladies!

As usual, you and Laura (sp?...not sure) had a wonderful reaction to one of my absolute favorite movies of all. I loved how you were able to appreciate all the nuance of Algren's journey. A little real world lore for you: The silent samurai was played by an actor named Seizo Futomoko who made a career out of playing samurai roles and in particular, was known for kirareyaku, which means playing the loser in a sword duel. It is estimated that he died onscreen more than 50,000 times. Simon Graham was played by Timothy Spall. The place where I'm pretty sure that you have seen him was in Harry Potter in the role of Peter Pettigrew. I'm looking forward to more reactions. I hope you dive in to some more Jackie Chan films at some point. There are LOTS of good ones! Also a fan of the bourne trilogy so I firmly support the suggestion to watch those three films.

So... when will be a new post?

Kriss

Overreacting much huh? Maybe she is gone for a while but there were pretty frequent reactions before that and a lot also

Kriss

They are people so stuff happen, they will catch up so I don’t think you should freak out

Anonymous

Well, frequent... I don't know. 6 anime episodes of 25 minutes = 1 movie length.

Kriss

Well I mean before that there wasnon stop movies at some point

Would be nice to hear something for sure :)

I tend to work more than twice a month though so not really a good argument xD
