Wow, what a classic! I'm so pleased you chose to react to this, Magy. I love horror and sci-fi, and this is one of the greats. Scream as loud as you want!!! I hope you'll now check out the sequel- Aliens.

I`m glad you are reacting to this movie and hope you also will react to Aliens. After that you probably should stop. I think it`s the better ending for the franchise.

Definitely a classic :) Ridley Scott made this movie a while before he made Gladiator. Another different and older film of his is Blade Runner, starring our friend Han Solo (Harrison Ford). Congratulations for going out of your comfort zone! Both you and Ripley courageously survived to the end of the movie :D Everyone loves Ripley btw. When people say "strong female characters", she's near the top of the list (Princess Leia is definitely another). We definitely get to see more of her in Aliens, please watch the Directors Cut! Some trivia about the movie: None of the actors knew what was going to happen at the breakfast scene, except the guy playing Kane. It was filmed basically as we see it in the movie. It kinda traumatised a couple of the actors. The actors were also told to annoy Sigourney Weaver, who played Ripley - to make her feel really frustrated and bring that into her performance. The "Alien" is basically known in pop culture as "the Xenomorph", which is really just another word for Alien. The ship the crew discover (and it's giant, dead pilot) are both referred to as "the Space Jockey". Scott put his (and the DoPs) kids in space suits and filmed them walking up to it to make the dead creature seem much bigger. The small, crab-like pre-Xenomorph creature is called a "Facehugger", which "hatches" from a person into a "Chestburster". None of these terms are ever used in the script :D

Not sure if you seen the movie "Ready Player One", it is a good gamers movie - I think you would also like Quigley Down Under (1990) or even Now You See Me is a good movie also - take care &amp; hope you feel better

Great reaction Magy. Glad to see you branching out from your comfort zone with movies. I’m not a fan of horror movies myself but I do love the first 2 Aliens movies. Hope to see different types of movies from you in the future.
