Half Sisters is here with Episode 38 and 24 pages!

This episode is dialogue / drama heavy, and I had a lot of fun writing both Josh and Sandy. They're both in the middle of an incredible, difficult circumstance while also trying to navigate their own feelings. Tensions are high, and all sorts of secrets are starting to unravel...

And Nikki thinks she has it hard! 😉

Let's recap: Mr. Ferris was a Platinum? member of Second Dawn and upon learning that his son was transgender, he locked him up in life, resulting in his ¿suicide? Because of this Mrs. Ferris, who knew nothing? of her husband's membership in the Second Dawn organization, contacted Mr. Xu and made a deal with him to take her husband and turn him into a Mr. Davis's TOY? Wow! And now, upon Sandy/Scott learning that Mr. and Mrs. Ferris have dealings with Second Sunrise, due to Josh's inquiries, Mrs. Ferris wants to renegotiate the deal with Mr. Xu.... Double Wow!!! Deals that at the moment we don't know what they consist of, neither the first one, nor the renegotiation of this one. And in the meantime, Sandy is still doubting who he/she really is and Josh is in quite a pickle for finding out some very sensitive information..... I don't know how you do it Emory, but your stories are going 'in crescendo' and getting more and more interesting, by the way I love the crossovers between the stories!

I love the picture of Sophia that appears in the background of several scenes. It almost looks like she is listening in on the conversation between Josh and Sandy... maybe a little intimidating! It reminds me of the picture of "Rebecca" from the movie by the same name.

that was absolutely a wild ride! hehe i feel like when we get a nikki episode it’s just us rooting for her to just be a normal girl while sandy just be dropping bombs in an expositional way! lovely work emory and i can’t wait for more of my favorite little fiery ex football player!

Haha, thank you, Nina! Yeah, with Nikki we're like "You don't know the POWER of the femme side - give in to your feelings!" Meanwhile. Sandy is caught up in capital-D Drama. 😉 The poor girl is really trying her best to be honest with Josh, but it's hard for her to open up. She's lived with a lot of secrets and hasn't had an easy life. For instance, we know she's an orphan, and she had to live with a shitty uncle when she was young. She's very protective of who she trusts and, wow, it's difficult to break those habits. But maybe if she can get Mrs. Ferris to tell her the truth then she can finally move on with her life - and with Josh! 💖
