I agree totally about Xu’s shiftiness, which is why Holly has so far survived by trusting no one but herself and being ruthlessly self-serving in the process, often at great cost and hurt to others. But she’s survived. As far as Jill is concerned, leaving her in Davis’ crude control has to be part of Xu’s devious overall strategy, otherwise it makes no sense. Xu’s revelations about Mason and Jill’s sister add a further twist to things too. I don’t know about other readers, but over the years, gosh, years, of this marvellous tale, I’ve developed a real fondness for Jill and only want the best of outcomes for her. What that will be, however, I have absolutely no idea. Back to you, Emory. But one thing for sure, this is amongst the very best comics that I’ve ever read, if not THE best. xx

Hi Robert! I think you posted this in the wrong place, but I still love your comment. 😀 Holly is one of my favorite characters for a lot of reasons. One of them is that you can never tell who's side she's on. One of the things she learned in her "education" under Mr. Xu is there is really only two sides: winners and losers. She intends on being a winner every time. She's lost enough already. And thank you so much! I've also developed a true fondness for Jill. I honestly believe Holly has, as well. Will that help save Jill from a bad end? We'll see! 😀
