Hey.
Really wanted to finish the second model in this month, but because of the simple laziness can't do it. While I was studying, it seemed to me that during the holidays I would sit a lot in the 3d program, but instead I'm doing... I don't even know what I'm doing. Just goofing around.

Anyway, model is still unfinished, but I tried to make two normal looking test pics. The second pic is here - https://files.catbox.moe/jcybg5.png

At first, I thought for a long time how she would look (I don't know how to draw, so I had to create an image in my stupid head). It seemed to me that something snake-like would be enough... But as I created her, I often redid certain features and it turned out some kind of hybrid of a human, a lizard, a bird, a cat. Share your opinion about her. What do you think?
Thinking about the name for her. Maybe something that starts on "H"... After finishing her things probably go faster. I will be making environment and low quality characters-fillers. Then finally animating.

Idk about Patreon. Looks like they made some strange fees for different countries. Are you feeling comfortable on this platform?

Sorry if ruined your opinion about me. Yes, all things I do is ultra slow. And the next big animation will be... not even in this year for sure. Guess just feel a little out of place or something... Thank you for staying here (idk why).

Oh and I have paused billing cycle for August.

This is it for now.

Don't worry about it. This is very good work for a month. She came out great, regardless of how you got there. As for her name, Hauras, Hamhras, Hemsrah, Honah, Hemariah, Hectra, Hayek, Hensei. Not sure if those are what you're aiming towards, but maybe they'll get the ball rolling.

Loving the look!

Goofing around isn't a bad thing; reducing stress and enjoying the things you like is important to balancing out the concentration and effort we put into our jobs, whatever they may be. As long as you're moving forward some way over time, the speed is less important. As for these WIPs, I think she looks lovely! The hair-feathers are highly-detailed, and the design of her snout strikes an interesting balance between reptilian and feline. I like that her muscle tone is evident under the fine-scaled skin as well. Personally, her bust seems a little to large for her body size, partially because she's also reptilian and avian, neither of which have breasts IRL (Of course they're able to have them in fantasy, but having them be smaller is a good compromise to me). Also, we can't see much of her tail so I can't tell if it's reptilian or feline, but if it's reptilian, you may want to make it start out wider at the base since reptile tails usually start about the width of the hips. Lastly, those eyes are fantastic, the pupil pattern is familiar enough to be empathetic, but different enough to remain alien. I stress that my critiques are entirely my opinion, and not instructions or requests. For a name, Thomas had an excellent array of fantasy names, but 'Holly' came to mind for me. You mentioned not being able to draw, but even a rough sketch can help you visualize what you're shooting for. If you're still not comfortable with that, a list of features can help so that you have a a concrete set of words to attach to each part of the design instead of trying to remember it all. I'm personally comfortable on Patreon, I'm supporting quite a few people here. The fees may be related to currency exchanges, perhaps? Or extra moderation that has to into them for country-specific rules? There are only two other platforms I know off the top of my head, and I don't know how they compare to Patreon. SubscribeStar has less rules about content than Patreon, and Ko-Fi has subscription option if you pay more. Both are less popular than Patreon, though, and if you switch, there are some subscribers that wouldn't follow for whatever reason. You warned us right away that things might be slow, so you're in the clear in my books! Support from here can mean a lot of different things to different creators. Sometimes it's a reward for making something people love, sometimes it's encouragement to do something specific in their free time. If their support gets big enough, they might start taking less overtime at work, or quit their normal jobs entirely! Whatever your case, the people supporting you are doing so willingly and because we like what you do. However that functions in your world is your business, so don't be too hard on yourself! (Pausing is your own choice as well, even if I think it's unnecessary, heh)

Thank you very much for your variants. I will try to mix it with some of mine and choose the most suitable one for her.

Well just making 3d renders is my small hobby and earlier sitting in 3d programs was the actual goofing around. Guess just oversaturated a little with 3d for this year. Anyway, everyday I make a little steps in progress of the project. Сan't just live a day without it, so it's like a dose of nicotine for smoker to feel okay. That's really wonderful that you like her. I tried to make a unique looking race that appears in clean smooth kind with soft shapes and delicate colors while having some harmony between being humanish creature and alien, that combines Earth living beings in it's appearance. Well... Yes, her chest truly looks a little oversized, but it's more like because of placing of the camera and her pose. She has long limbs and quite wide hips and shoulders and all this mixed makes her chest area appear more normal on full-length view. And representatives of her race much taller than humans. She is 7,2 feet (2,22 meters) tall. It results in inscreased default muscle definition. I've been thinking about the tail for a pretty long time. I didn't want to add it at all at first to make her more humanoid. But eventually made it, but thin and not too long. Like feline one without fur. So anyway, the model isn't ready yet. Some attributes can be changed and something can be added. Well, I'm okay with using just imagination to represent likeness of thing I want to make in 3d. Drawing just helps to systematize and understand will it all be a good combination for overall composition. Being bad at it can destroy design witch leads to the confusion and rejection of ideas. I'm fine with Patreon as long as you fine with it. I though it would be a bad idea to make big projects with original assets since it takes very much time for one person. And I though that in the gaps between my ready projects almost all of patrons will leave due the very unfrequent posts. But you and others who still supports really surprising me. And it's not actually about money. When I graduate from college and if I find decent job irl I think I could just make all the content free and leave Patreon. Anyway, right now I'm just very grateful for your patience and support.
