OK, as always, big thanks first of all to everyone who’s subscribed and gotten us to the $200 a month mark. Also, thanks to everyone who commented about the game, especially C.S. Fox, who gave me a lot to think about. Having looked into a bit, I’m going to take his advice, take it slow and keep it simple... but I’d still like to do something in the meantime to celebrate our first milestone, so I’m going to try something a bit different... a sort of community collaboration where patrons vote on what’s going to happen next, and maybe even make plot and character suggestions. The idea would be to create a premium $10 tier that would allow people to vote on what direction the plot advances in and get premium access to the resulting stories (I’m not sure yet if I’d make it available to users at lower tiers yet, but it would probably be only after the story had been out for a while.) Again, any thoughts on this would be appreciated, and if you think it’s a good idea, hit the like button.

Speaking for myself, I'd honestly be happy with regular story chapters and more brat syndrome stuff. I don't want to dissuade you from doing something for your milestone, but I feel like the increase in tier to participate in a vote feels a little disingenuous as a reward. Its like offering a thanks to fans by an opportunity to pay more money :/ If you want to do the premium tier, go for it, but don't offer it as a milestone reward, offer it as an incentive moving forward. For a milestone reward, it should be something that doesn't cost the fans who have already supported you anything, like a piece of artwork you commissioned via your fans money for the fans. Or an extra short story written along side the regular content. Just my 2 cents.
