We're within spitting distance of our first goal-- huge thanks once again to everyone who’s joined up so far, it’s definitely appreciated. I know I promised something special if we reached our first goal and I had an idea I wanted to get a little feedback on-- How would you guys feel about some sort of text adventure game? I’ve tinkered around with them before and I think I could string together something fun and exciting (actually, I was thinking about doing something centred around a character trapped in some sort of automated nursery...) The price will probably be around $10. Hit the like button if you think it's a good idea and leave me your thoughts in the comments (anyone know a good program? I think I tried Quest once and seem to recall it was fairly easy to use.)
In other news, look for part two of Brenda in a couple of days.

I love the plan about a game, unfortunatly I can not recommend a game engine, but please create something. It will be great!

Not I said The Guy

Thinking about it for the first time.....I like the game concept, but mostly for those who would be so inclined to play one. I myself am not much of a gamer and seriously doubt that I would be able to find time in my schedule to participate on any in depth level. For now, I shall enjoy the stories and other content here and at Babes in Diapers. However, I am fully behind the idea of going up to $10 a month. I will support this site in any way I can and am happy to do so. If others are into the game idea, then I would be only too thrilled to support them. But at this time, with limited information, I doubt I would be able to play. If you can show or tell me more, then I might be sold on participating.

I both love and hate games of this type... and this is coming from someone who developes them as a hobby. Games are easy to get excited about, but VERY hard to deliver, especially if you're making one. Scope creep, motivation, hidden material/media need, it adds up quicker then you'd think and nothing turns a fan against you quicker then promising them something and then under delivering or taking too long to deliver. That said, I am not against the idea of a game, I just recommend caution. There's a few different easy and readily available programs. Twine, Quest, and Rags are all free to build on and not too hard to program for text adventures. There's also the dating sim/visual novel engines like dinobuilder and ren'py that are also pretty easy to pick up. I would recommend you adhere to KISS (keep it simple stupid) unless you know you have a lot of time and motivation to devote to this project for sure.
