This is totally insane. How is anyone allowed to go to school board meetings if they don't even have kids that go to that school? You should form a posse with the other parents from your district and kick their asses.

Living for this as an elementary educator! Thank you for using your platform this way. Kids are already struggling, staff are already overwhelmed and exhausted. Don’t get me started on the irony that we’re increasingly responsible for teaching children social skills, emotional intelligence, appropriate behavior, etc but simultaneously being accused of overriding parental authority. (PS We’re not. We don’t have time.) Go get em Dave!
