Hello there!
I know it's been such a while since the last devlog. Well, I didn't have that much to show really, I had to focus on fixing major bugs in the new Demo release.

The bug.
This, by far as been my nightmare for a long, long time.
No matter how much I tried, I couldn't fix this. After a long time, I finally found what the problem was. And fixed it once and for all.

Small rework with arrow collisions.
My arrow collision was a mess, and it's weird that I wasn't using the same collision system as for all entities. Don't ask me why.

Biomass takes over the forest.
This was always the idea, the biomass should be present in almost all the game areas, since it is a consequence of the dark energy that flows through the island. It is almost all aesthetics, but monsters known as the Biomass Childs will wander around these. I did some designs for them before but I'm still not fully happy with them. I need time to design them since they're more or less the main enemy minion of the game.

Why is there water in this grass?
I don't know either, solution was removing all the grass in this room. And yes, I tried to redo the room, and many other things, I thing it's cursed.

Zoria Portrait.
Updated it for the demo, Zoria been hitting the gym c:

A small test with forest background (Biomass trees)
Needs more work, but this is the main aspect of how the background should look, I like how it looks with the fog, makes the forest look really deep.

Dynamic outlines.
I made this small addition, it'll let you customize outlines for Player/Allies, Enemies and collectables, each one with their own color.

Magic Runes.
Some may know about this, I didn't work too much on it for now. I've added more symbols fo the elements, and added names to each spell type and element.

Static attacks.
Now you can stay in place while attacking if you're not pressing the direction key. I found it kinda useful for enemies that can't get knockback.

Playing around for Bonus room. (Gone wrong.)
I was trying to design a bonus room, but this area looks more like a final game dimension.
Not sure what to use it for.

Mr Hat.
This little guy is the one that will take you to the 'Bonus Room'. Sort of a pocket dimension.

Dhorgos Aman rework.
Just a few tweaks to Dhorgos.

Cutscene WIP.
This should be the cutscene that takes you to the main island, starting the game.

Elianna Di Nubia - Rework.
I'm adding legs to some NPCs, I used to draw them from hips-up so heights were a mess.
I took the change to rework Elianna. I played around with her design A LOT. But I'm happy with the results. Even if she doesn't really look like the old version that much.
I wanted her to look mysterious and with authority.
