Hey guys, I know this month has been kinda slow on my side, working on tutorial area doesn't give me that much stuff to show, sadly, but I'm also trying to jump to another thing from time to time to have stuff to show.

Changelog.
-Now you can only enter the crawling state if pressing Left/Right agaisnt the wall for 5 frames. (Before it was automatic if just standing next to it.

-Usables are now substracted only when the animation is done playing. (It was at the start, so you could lose item by being attacked, cancelling the use.)

-Fixed a "bug" that made secret areas not vanish correctly at the bottom of the map.

Play testing. A LOT.
Been playtesting, tweaking this boss fight, for quite a while, didn't get into sprite design yet, because I want to know what I'm gonna do 100% for the fight.

Changed the jump back after attacking to a roll, I think enemies having the same mechanics as the player makes it feel more alive, like, the Boss is just another person in this world, who happens to fight you.

Hurricane attack.
This attack was a suggestion, and I really like it, it shows that the Oni has barely no fighting training, and depends purely on her brute force. It may work agaisnt most enemies, but Zoria is also strong, but agile.

Decorating level design.
Sometimes I forget to add decoration to my levels, and when I realize, they're just mostly empty. This is not a hard area to play in, but can be annoying because of Parsels throwing rocks at you from above. (I fell off more than once.)

Boss door in action.
I think it's fair for players to know when a Boss Fight is going to happen, and maybe decide not to enter yet, go farm some potions, etc. This door locks once you enter, duh.

Dialogue, and a reason to fight.
I know the reasons to fight the Oni may look stupid. There's no direct evil in this small area, Zoria just goes around, and starts killing goblins who try to attack her. (Maybe because she enters their territory, and most people see orcs as a menace.)
Zoria usually acts without thinking too much on the consequences, and having Dhorgos manipulate her to get something to eat doesn't help. But worry not, the goblins are cannibals, even if you never figure it out. (For now, maybe I could add some hints.)

Usable tutorial scene.
This may be too much fanservice, but I like it. I think it's better to have some visual examples of how usables are used, with some info about them. If people manage to read the tutorials, of course.

Full animation showcase.

Ship for a cutscene.
Once you finish the tutorial area, your journey to the real adventure starts.

Stat selection scene + Perks.
Time to choose who you want to be, when the game starts, there will be this small scene where you'll be able to redistribute a total of 36 points in the six different stats. With a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 18, unlocking the first perk at 17.
After playing a bit with it, I found out you can unlock 4 perks of 6, maybe way too many points for a start, let me know what you think about it.

Bonus: Here's a video of Boss Fight test, audio is a bit bug.

I know it's not much, I hope you like it!
Love.
