"After the battle with Syndrome things weren't quite as solved between Bob and Helen: he did lie to her and their children multiple times after all, losing his job because of his short temper, accepting a shady offer that was actually a trap and putting himself and the rest of them in mortal danger just because he wanted to relive his glory days. It was just too much for Helen. She couldn't just forgive him and give him a kiss. It was a hard decision for both of them, but in the end Helen asked for a divorce and the full custody of their children and Bob accepted. He had realized the gravity of his mistakes and only wanted for them t have a happy and safe life, so he let them go.

Still, he felt nonetheless awful. That was without a doubt the lowest point of his life: no job, no house, no loved ones. Rock bottom. But after he wallowing in misery for a while in his motel room, he received a particular visit from someone he thought he would never see again: Mirage. The woman explained to him that, as Syndrome's former right hand woman, she had managed to acquire his assets and now she wanted to start over as a respectable business woman, repurposing the late villain's weapon manufacturing company into an innovation venture, and she wanted to hire him to improve the reputation of the company. Of course bob was reluctant at first, since that was the way all of his his troubles started, but she really seemed sincere and he was really in need, so after giving it some thought he accepted her offer.

Much to his surprise and happiness, his new job consisted on being a hero again, testing the new gadgets developed by Mirage's company on the field and giving her data on his superhuman prowess. 

The two of them became really good friends by closely working together, and soon enough that friendship became something more. They were really happy together and to further strengthen their bond Mirage used the fruits on her research on Bob's superpowers to enhance herself. She became more powerful and beautiful than before, with super strength, super stamina and super endurance just like Bob had and a more buxom voluptuous body, something that both of them really appreciated.

Soon enough, after some training to get Mirage familiar with her new abilities, she was patrolling the streets with him as his new partner in crime-fighting AND in life: Mrs. Incredible."
