Hi everyone,

Quite a lot of opinions regarding the NFT cards of the Christmas reward were received. I would like to conduct a simple poll to decide whether to continue publishing works in NFT format.

Thank you for your participation.

I'm happy to see you're willing to listen to your patrons on this one. I'm against publishing works in NFT format, and I'm hoping public opinion continues to swing that way as it seems to be right now.

I don't understand this whole NFT thing.

Perhaps an additional reward for non-nft/crypto patrons who will feel sad/left out because of this is an option? I used to hate on nft's aswell because the concept sounded a bit silly and pointless. But after watching a friend of mine selling an ape(!) nft with 3k$ profit I'm not so sure anymore lol. I have my doubts when it comes to nft's but it's still early and it does have a pretty big market and a lot of collectors seem happy. It could be an exciting new addition for your content. So as long as your non-nft content does not decline in numbers and quality I see no reason why you should not do it.👍

Yes, I was also reluctant to adopt NFT format in the beginning but would like to give it a try after seeing its potential and values it could possibly bring, which may inspire my motivation to create. The original idea of creating NFT content was to serve as a token of gratitude to patrons or fans for their support. Even if my works can be sold at such a high price, I can only receive few profits. So let’s wait for the polling result to proceed. If most of the patrons oppose it, I may delete the NFT project directly.

Basically a digital certificate is made saying you are being given a copy of this artwork and usually new certificates will never be made. This scarcity gives them value. If an artist were to make 5 physical works of art and sell them with a certificate of authenticity an NFT is trying to emulate that. Someone could make photocopies of the work of art, but a copy of the Mona Lisa isn't an original so it's worth much less. That's basically what an NFT is, the certificate of authenticity.

I think NFTs offer no real benefits to fans, or even artists. Buying a receipt serves no purpose for digital pieces that can be reproduced, and artificial scarcity only serves to speculate on future value - it only serves resellers who hope to make money, and artists already have various alleys to sell their artworks to fans, both more convenient and less environmentally destructive. I would prefer to avoid it entirely.

Yeah, I'm strongly of the opinion that NFTs serve no meaningful purpose and more importantly they serve no purpose while wasting an insane amount of energy.

Realistically, NFTs are pretty much pointless and a waste of time, a better suggestion would be maybe every once in a while you can randomly pick one of the characters from the polls to draw as a 4th character for the month.
