What to tackle

  • Extruder that has belt transferring power to second hobbed bolt to prevent this so called wood pattern that some are having. 3
  • Modular somewhat quick-change hotend and extruder mount for gantry upgrade kits . All backwards compatible 1
  • Laser cutter adapter and harness for gantry upgrade possibly stock mount as well but would have to take off hotend on stock setup 2
  • Berd air hotend and part cooling instead of just parts 13
  • Vacuum assisted retractions utilizing the berd air pump intake . This would prevent oozing on tough filaments 0

I have a few things I have sketched out and made some notes on that are all promising some could be gamechanger which I will test and if looks promising I'll be making posts about it . Anyway right now though I want to see what you guys would like me to do and send to beta testers for evaluation. The wooden artifacts that people have been talking about I have not been suffering and I think it is bad extruder design which is why it is worse on some printers specifically but I would love anyone that had the issue to let me know so we can tackle.

That's a given I am updating the website guide and I'll see if Alex Or can make it into one if his pdfs he does for me if he busy I'll attempt myself 😆

I on the fence about getting the update kit, my Troodon is working very well at the moment. However I am looking for that improvements the kit provides that will help me pull the trigger.
