We're back from our holiday break! Thank you all so much for being so patient. I hope you had or are continuing to have a wonderful holiday! We actually just had ourselves a little Christmas miracle ourselves.

WE'VE GOT A PICKLE FULL OF BLOOD.

That's right! Our little kitten Pickle is finally recovering from his anemia! After so many goddamn expensive tests and medications, he's finally producing blood again. He's still going to be on medication for a while as we slowly try to wean him off, but this was the best possible news we could get. OUR LITTLE GUY'S GONNA MAKE IT!

But besides all that, we had ourselves an incredibly unseasonably SPOOKY Christmas! We finished Control, which was a really damn good game, and now we're knee deep Alan Wake 2. I won't give my thoughts on those too much due to the spoilery nature of something so current, but goddamn, they're some cool-ass games. We also watched Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors. It was pretty good! Cool special effects, lot of fun set pieces. It was a good movie. And yet, I dunno... We're watching these after binging the whole Friday the 13th series so that we can fully appreciate Freddy vs Jason. And the Nightmare on Elm Street movies are like, very competent movies. They're well shot, great visual effects showcases, they have actual characters and plots and arcs. They are ACTUAL movies compared to the Friday the 13th films... and yet, they're just not grabbing us as much as we wish Jason would grab us by the throat in the spooky forest after a skinny dip. We'll still be going through the rest of the Freddy movies, of course, so stay tuned for more thoughts.
