WHEW. Busy weekend. Not only had a bunch of Slipshine work, but we also got our desks in! Assembling these babies was a huge all-day ordeal, but it was absolutely worth it because they are INCREDIBLE. We got so much room now! No more burning my eyes being so close to my monitor now! I'd take a picture and show you, but I'm still waiting on my phone to be repaired. We also ended up getting a spare upright freezer from Leslie's aunt! They had an old one they weren't using, so she gave it to us. Getting it over here was a pain, but we did it! Only problem is it, uh... doesn't seem to actually work. Been a good 24 hours now and it still hasn't cooled down lower than 70 degrees. It's a 20-year-old freezer, so I guess the idea that it was still working was too good to be true. Not looking forward to having to get this thing out of the house... Maybe it just takes a little bit longer to cool down? We'll have to see.
