Is it possible to write comics about smartphones without sounding a little cringe? I don't think it is, actually. But I wanted to bounce off the whole "Seth hates texting" bit more from the main comic and wanted to ramp up his millennial grandpa-ness more. Back in the good ol' days when phones were indestructible, and ringtones had VALUE (usually around 99 cents). Plus, I really like Emily being a little memelord gremlin. Gotta figure out how to incorporate that more.
