Man…my first blog post after the election. I really don’t know what to say. To be honest, I’ve just kind of been in a daze today. A good daze. That sense of dread I’ve carried for the last four years is just…gone. There’s still things to be anxious about of course, and I’m not so delusional as to think that everything’s going to get magically better immediately come January. But just the idea that things actually can get better is just…nice. That that possibility now actually exists for us. That I don’t necessarily have to worry quite so hard now. There’s still so, so much damage that has been done. We can never go back, but we shouldn’t in the first place. We can literally only get better from here, and that in itself is a relief like none I’ve ever felt before. I won’t stop fighting for a better tomorrow. Even if the majority of Americans are good people, this election proved that a not insignificant amount of people want nothing more than to hurt them. But for right now, me and Leslie will make our sex-positive rock n’ roll erotic comic filled with LGBT+ characters and no one’s gonna take that away from us.

See you on Friday!

also I just wanna add that you guys having Dakota exist in your comic was the normalization my unconscious needed to come out as a trans man two years ago, so thanks for him <3 (been reading since 2017)

Both Leslie and I were holding back tears just trying to figure out how to respond to something so amazing. We're both so, so incredibly happy that we helped in any way and so fucking proud of you for finding confidence in who you are. You fucking rock, dude.

I’m donating to Rev. Warnock, Jon Ossoff, and Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight organization on my next payday. The fight isn’t over yet.

Getting back to the comic, there’s a lot to like in this one. I love the blue glow, then red glow, and finally the orange glow in the colors. I also love how Georgie can take Seth from despondent in panel three to such a wonderfully affectionate smile in panel four. Amazing work by Leslie as always.

Now that the playing field for these runoffs are more even, there's not a single doubt in my mind. We can definitely fucking win these fights. We'll be throwing our money at them right with you!

Kinda disappointed that Seth didn't have a plan B strategy for that meeting.

Congrats on getting the result you wanted in the election; let's just hope we can get rid of our wild-haired idiot now! 😉
