Halfway Status Update (and Leslie's birthday)! (Patreon)

Hey guys! Just wanted to give you a heads-up on what's been happening over the last week!

So as you all saw, we launched our demo for our game project NOODS, and it's been a huge success! We've maintained the top spot on itch.io's adult category for 5 straight days and got a lot of buzz and interest from the adult gaming community! I've made a lot of strange new friends these last few days! I'm so happy the demo has been so well-received. We have a LOT more work ahead of us and so much shit no one's even seen yet, and I seriously can't wait to put more out there.

But that's not all! As you know, I'm also the manager over at Slipshine. I handle a lot of the backend stuff like scheduling, archiving, etc. Well, after many months, I've FINALLY finished implementing the tagging system. Slipshine originally had a...very loose tagging system back in the day, with only a handful of tags that went generally unapplied. Well, I went and applied 80+ brand new tags across 103 different comic series, resulting in a whopping 2,783 tags TOTAL throughout Slipshine. It was...a LOT of work. I can now say I've read through all 24,000+ pages of Slipshine. But not only did I do that, but I also rewrote new descriptions for EVERY comic on the site! A lot of comics just...didn't have descriptions for some reason! And some that did were more vague jokes than anything. I also added genre placements, artist links, chapter and page counts, and even publishing dates for all comics! The publishing dates are super interesting. Slipshine's been around for almost 20 years, so some comics ran for nearly 12 years or more! Some are even old scans of porn comics from way way back in the 1980s! I had to dig through a LOT of archived site notes and even had to use the wayback machine a few times, but I think the publishing dates really gives you a good sense of the era a lot of the older comics come from.

But Brad, you may ask, what about Rock Cocks?! And of course, we're working on Rock Cocks, too! This chapter will continue where we left off, revealing a little more about Seth's plans and even backstory but also watching Elizabeth get further acquainted with the Rock Cocks lifestyle. The chapter is completely planned out and we're ready to rock when Oct. 16 rolls around! Tomorrow is Leslie's birthday though, so we're gonna take it easy that day. No big plans or anything, just chilling out and eating some cake. Please wish Leslie a happy birthday when Oct. 9 rolls around! We kind of have a hurricane heading towards our house on that exact day, so she could definitely use some well-wishes!
