I really do love writing Seth and Georgie together. They're the best. BUT FUCK THAT, WE GOT HOUSE NEWS!

So, we did it. The house pad has been raised another 12 inches. Our road has been thoroughly rebuilt, now wider, stronger, and including ditches along the side for water drainage when it rains. We THINK we're back on track. We're just waiting on the go-ahead and then we can HOPEFULLY get the trailer on the land THIS WEEK. We won't be able to do a waterline from the main parish water system like we planned, but we're going to do something even faster and hire someone to build us a well. We've got all our utility people on standby, ready to set everything up. WISH US LUCK, EVERYONE! This SHOULD be it! We'll find out tomorrow! Next time we update, you may see some house pictures!
