Greetings, my little kitties woffies draggies foxies doggies ratties mousies kobbies catties horsies birbies bunnies hareies rabbitsies skunkies otteries bearies coyoties hyenies ferretties squirrelies batsies deersies and any chimerasies out there!

It's been a while since the last Gaze and we're still some ways off from the next build, so I wanted to write a small update for you all ^^

So, our second species is Davh. You might have guessed this already though, if you looked at the milestone icons in our Feature timeline. We're still missing a few bits and pieces from the next build, but nearly there! 

The first "visit" to the Davh (doggies from island of Harakeen, the capital island) is in form of an NPC. The Davh will not be a huntable race on Skiia (but that doesn't mean you won't be able to get them on crew later on), but will be available as a player character option after our new character editor is complete (not the next build, but the build after it) ^^

This build has taken a bit longer (besides the time it took to make the Davh) because I had to do some tweaks and polish to the character meshes to support mesh morphing in future (for the new character editor), and we had to re-setup bunch of things to properly add support for multiple species ^^

Also, we're going to add Crew Missions to Hunt and Snare (more about it below), this goes to the "Crew and Equipment" -milestone which we'll also move to become the next milestone, because there's still so much work to be done on the first island, and that's why there's not much benefit in starting on sailing yet ^^ Note: I haven't updated the feature milestone yet! I need to plan a battle plan for the crew and equipment milestone first x)

Also also (be amazed by this showcase of perfect writing), we've almost hit the "HUNTER OR HUNTED?" -Patreon goal, tad bit faster than I expected when I created the goal (it is a positive problem!), so it'll take quite a while before we can actually start working on that features. I kinda assumed we'd have sailing and at least second island done before hitting this goal... x) I do have some plans on how to add this to Skiia too though, but I'll write more about that later on! The big question mark (it's not really that big of a question mark, just needs player's consent) currently is Patreon's new (read: Now enforced) rules on non-con content, so we'll have to design it around that ^^


Crew Missions

So, currently your captureables have literally nothing to them besides sex (nothing wrong with that!), but the idea is to extend their usability from "pretty things" to "useful things". And how we are going to do that? With a meta-game layer (sort of an activity or different layer of gameplay) built around the crew itself. The general idea is that there are two types of crew missions; Short term, and Long term. We'll invent better names for these later on x)

Short term missions generally take just 5-30 minutes to complete and are mostly doable while you are playing, where as long term missions can take from few hours to a day or two to complete and you generally want to start the mission, and return later to check on results ^^

Every mission has a specific requirements for crew, e.g. some minor noble might be organizing a dinner with another noble and they want two kitties as maids, but the mission type also requires that they know etiquette. Sure you could send them just two kitties with titties, dressed as maids, who have zero knowledge of etiquette, but your mission would have a high fail chance! ^^

The crew will not have stats per se, but they have a tag system similarly to what we have for player and conversations (thought it's not very visible as of yet) and each prey/crew will have basic, skill, and item tags. Basic tags represent bodily features, e.g. small breasts, medium breasts, knobby penis, no cum, huge amount of cum, muscular, and so forth. Skill tags represent knowledge or features like etiquette, tinkering, history, noble stature, kind, harsh, silent, etc. Item tags represent tags given to crew based on items they have, e.g. a noble's attire gives crew a tag dressed:noble, or a strap-on would give a strap-on tag, and so on ^^

Completing missions will reward you with money, items of varying rarity from different categories, special events (e.g. "get sex" -card, a royal wolfette would only agree to have sex with you, if you completed a mission for them), and/or character opinion/global renown.

P.s. We'll be adding different body sizes later on, for now, everyone will have "medium" body type, with more customization options coming soon with the Character Editor, and whole different body types later ^^

Nice as always Ruffle but I was hoping to see some more male-oriented attention. The past few NPCs have been x/f or f/x. Show us some M/M love &lt;3

I like the idea of them looking a mix of fox, and coyote and the body style isn' that bad at all either having a mix bag of things to make the character you want to create always keeps amazing me from how games come along so fast.
