📌 New Patreon Goals & Incentives (Updated Monthly) (Patreon)

(Updated April 1, 2024 💖) The progress bar will be updated monthly, so check back if you're interested!

✨ Goal 1: Reaching $1K in monthly earnings would be a huge milestone for me! Should this happen, you can expect the following:

  • To celebrate hitting this goal, I'll do a special character poll where the top FIVE requests get their own color/shaded drawings

  • Exclusive alts are guaranteed to get published every month

  • This also allows me to make bonus polls a more frequent occurrence

⭐️ Goal 2: My monthly living expenses will be covered!

  • If this goal is reached, I will create an animation (not just a loop) with sound, featuring the top-voted character and themes suggested by you guys!

  • 1 drawing from each set of OC sketches will now get colored!

  • An exclusive piece is guaranteed to be posted each month

🌟 Goal 3: At this point, I'd be able to create art full-time - this would be a dream come true!

  • Both 1st and 2nd place characters will be drawn in every one of our monthly character polls

  • Needless to say, I will be able to dedicate more time and energy to drawing than ever before!

I figured it was time to outline some basic goals for this page! Patreon used to have this feature built into the site , but since they removed it for whatever reason, I threw this visual together. Graphic design is my worst enemy, but hopefully this helps you visualize our progress. Each month, I'll update the bar graph to reflect my current monthly earnings. And for the sake of transparency, I will (temporarily) set my Earnings Visibility to public if/when anyone asks me to. Like a lot of other pages, though, I usually prefer to keep it off most of the time. If Goal 1 is reached, I'll immediately establish the exact amount needed for Goal 2, and so on. I think I'd be jumping the gun if I tried to calculate my future living expenses this early on - it's probably best to take things one at a time.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for other perks that I could offer! I should mention that there will still be exclusives, alts, bonus polls, etc. regardless of whether these goals are reached. The idea is that a steadier source of income will allow me to guarantee more benefits. And I say this a lot, but all the support has meant so much to me, whether it's all the nice comments or people subscribing here. Talking about money sucks so much ass, which is partially why I've held off on making this for so long - I really just wanna draw lol

Thanks, Mega! 🙏 I've never drawn anything on such a small scale (resolution-wise) - I loved experimenting with this, even though it's mostly a re-draw of an old piece.

I think this is a pretty good set up and plan going forward. Your rewards sound great. The prospect of more animations and one OC sketch being coloured is very exciting. In the event of you reaching goals two and three, I think its important to pace yourself, even if your afforded more time to create. Money is never fun to talk about so your decision to open up about that fact is much appreciated. With other suggestions for rewards, allowing people to commission the completion of sketches from the past, either of their OC’s and or existing characters you’ve drawn could be a fun option. Wishing you all the best with this as you have my support.

Can't thank you enough for the input, Lemonade! 💕 I for sure see what you mean about pacing myself for goals 2 & 3, should they be met. I spent quite a while these past few weeks trying to find a balance between incentives that people would (hopefully) find interesting and what I can accomplish as one person. It'll be a challenge at first, but I definitely think it can be done with the right time management, as you said! That's a good idea for a reward, too! I guess I haven't formally written it anywhere but, for the most part, anyone here can already commission me to complete an old sketch or OC drawing if I happen to have time during the month ^u^ Again, thanks sincerely for all the support through the years!

Finding the right balance over time will be tricky as they will no doubt be a lot of trail and error going forward with this possible structure/plan. But you’ve set reachable goals and like you said, time management with additional organisation will be key. Oh ok, I’d seen you mentioned it in discussion on Discord, but thats cool to know, I’ll keep that in mind. And you thank for all that you do.
