@ibenz009 Does the ninja know they're still alive? Also, why doesn't Edith simply ascend herself and leave the couple alone? She certainly retained her free will, so why would she take away Roland and Daisy's (I call them Scarlett and Lachlan) freedom away?

Oh fuck me, I forgot this story continued beyond what the initial sketches laid out. Some epic shit was in the offing here! If I had to call out one bestest thing about these pages, it would be the prismatic look of Ascended Shop Lady's "shawl". That's a really striking effect when set against her more typical liquid metal and crystalline makeup.
