Polite and year summary (Patreon)

Hello!

Happy December, all! I hope you've had a fantastic year, and that this final month is somehow as good as the rest of the year combined. It's been an interesting one for me – I deliberately stepped back from uploading my content online anywhere except Patreon, which I think was good for me in the short-term, but I'm looking forward to getting some of my writing onto the free sites in the new year.

(Don't worry, you'll still get my content 6 months before it goes online for free! Plus you get to hang out with me and all the other cool folk in the Discord. It's a good time!)

It was a big year for writing, too – I finished Diet, my longest story ever (225,000 words in total: as of today, 165,000 of them have been uploaded to Patreon, and 107,000 to the free sites) and started what I think are some of my best tales – Topsy-Turvy Tuesday, Harder, Tapes in the Attic.

More than anything though, I think this has been the Year of the Short for me. Here are all the standalone shorts I've posted to Patreon this year:

Thanks so much for being with me in 2022. I have some big plans for next year – I want to start getting my work up on the free sites once more, I want to finish my Top 100, post the rest of Diet, finish Topsy-Turvy Tuesday (and a bunch of other ongoing stories), start posting Helpful Hannah Redux, and clear a bunch of commissions off my plate, so I can better focus on the stories that I'm most driven to write...and, more importantly, the stories that my patrons want me to focus on!

If there's anything you'd particularly like to see me change or improve in the new year, please let me know. I value your presence and your input more than you know.
