Three versions of a commission! (Patreon)

Hello, lovely Patreons!

Today I wanted to show you something a little different. I take a lot of commissions  – I charge a lot, but in return I always make sure my clients are happy with their stories. I always offer two rewrites, to guarantee that everyone is getting what they want, but it rarely comes to that.

Well, at the start of the year, it came to that. It wasn't anyone's fault – I just got a very different idea in my head to what the commissioner wanted, and after the second rewrite, I finally nailed what he'd been imagining.

But I thought it'd be fun to show you all three versions of the story. As you'll see, they're very similar in concept, but quite different in execution. The first one is probably the one I would've written in a vacuum, but the third one was what my client was looking for.
