A new story, and further instructions on how to connect to Discord! (Patreon)

Hey!

I mentioned in the last update that I'd learned how to get Discord working for exclusive story previews. A few people have been struggling to figure out how to get it all up and running, so I thought I'd go into a bit more detail.

Firstly, you have to have a Discordaccount. You can make these pretty easily by going to http://discordapp.com or https://discord.gg/PYZrRmg (to access my Discord specifically).

Then, you need to connect it to your Patreon account. You can do this by going to patreon.com and clicking "Settings > Account", or just heading straight to https://www.patreon.com/settings/account

You will be looking for something like this:

Connect your Discord account to your Patreon account (my Discord account, as you can see, is "Peter" - my real name - and then a random string of numbers, because it turns out I'm not the only Peter in the world. Your Discord account does not need to be your real name - it can be anything you like!)

Lastly, and this is very important, only $10+ supporters can access the #story-previews channel. I'll be posting a lot of story previews here as well (like the one at the end of this post!) but the Discord channel is for $10+ supporters only.

If you can't see the channel, try disconnecting and reconnecting your Discord account to Patreon, and make sure you're supporting the Patreon at the correct level.
