In fact, it's been more than half a year since I moved to another country. A lot has changed in my life in those six months. Fortunately, mostly for the better. In any case, I look at things from that angle.

I decided that I would try to write some of my thoughts on my current situation.

I am now in the small town of Kotka in Finland. After the big, bustling city, I feel like I'm in a country house here! Outside my tiny rented apartment I can enjoy the fresh air and the smell of the forest. I have to admit, I never even dreamed of this.
In addition, the whole city is covered by 5G network, which allows me to feel comfortable even without wired Internet in most situations (Internet upload speed is still quite low and ping in games is not consistent). But it doesn't matter if you're in the woods or on a hill - you'll have fast Internet.

At the beginning of April I also finally upgraded my computer. My feelings about it were ambiguous. On the one hand, the half-and-a-half-minute process of saving a picture in PNG format was reduced to 10 seconds. On the other hand I decided to upgrade to Windows 11 and it is the worst shit I have ever tried (I was lucky enough not to try Windows 8). It amazes me how with billions Microsoft manages to release such a shitty operating system... It just doesn't make sense. So, it's quite possible that I'll be switching back to Windows 10 in the near future (thank God I saved a full copy of my boot drive on my old HDD).

I also finally visited the Maretarium in Kotka! I had been meaning to do it for half a year, but only now I got my hands on it! It's an amazing place with the most beautiful aquariums. The deepest one is 7 meters and you can see the fish from several floors. If you'll ever be there, you can find my 'easter egg' =D

Aaaaaand... It also snowed in the city on May 4 and 5...

I wanted to ask you if you were interested in my little stories about my IRL. If you like this format - you can tell me about it and drop me a comment. Maybe I'll do more interesting blogs for you, with pictures or even videos.

Anyway, thank you for reading and have a great weekend! <3

Good to hear you are doing well! as far as your operating system, Microsoft has officially announced they are adding NO new features to Windows 10, so that is going to be a dead-end soon. If you absolutely hate Win11 and want to try a new operating system, I can recommend a neat OS named "Manjaro Linux". It's free, open-source, and even though it's linux, it's designed for beginners and easy to learn. It also has a really big and helpful community for support. Steam games work just fine on it too. You can install it to a usb flash-drive and test it out very easily too

Well, I wouldn't say that I felt any difference in the number of features between version 10 and 11. So I would prefer the new features to the stability of the work... I also tried Linux before, but it's too new to me... =D

depends on how many misstakes you make!>:D what if every misstake adds a day or even a week? all the good deeds progress could be wasted by just spilling tea!>:D

Yeah, it's always a little bit of a challenge to learn something new, but if you have the patience, it's definitely worth checking out! Manjaro does it's best to be simple and stable. If you have an old out-of-date laptop or pc that you aren't using for anything, it's a great way to check it out :)
